The hotel is good and has some issues like a poor wifi and a fire alarm that can be problematic. In overall is a good option for London.

Reception Staff were welcoming, accommodating any requests we had made at the time of booking. They were also helpful with any requests we had made during our stay. Location was perfect - just round two corners from Earls Court tube station. Room looked as though it was being partly painted or touched up but not in the correct colour… but was clean and welcoming. The poor girl Danielle or Daniella serving breakfast in the restaurant was absolutely rushed off her feet on the Sunday when it was extremely busy and could have done with more staff on. She had to welcome every single guest, show them to their tables, make their drinks, take their hot food order, deliver the drinks and food to the tables and also clear and clean the tables for all guests all on her own. She did this all in her stride, apologising for any delays to everyone and providing service with a smile speaking in more than one language. She deserves a raise or to be paid double time in these instances!The hotel most certainly should have had more staff on to accommodate the amount of guests that there were on the Sunday and perhaps reception staff who were not busy could have assisted which would have made things much more manageable for the girl left on her own. We were glad to see that there were much more staff on the Monday. Cleaning staff for the rooms were very pleasant and they made a very good job - the rooms were spotless! All in all a very nice stay was had by us both.

The room location was perfect until you hear people going up and down the corridor most of the night and then hoovering the main reception at 8.30am which was right next to us. They don’t cater for people that can’t have caffeine which was disappointing

Spacious room but had an awful stay due to my room being on the ground floor where everyone passes. Not sound proof. Was kept up all night due to people passing my door all night and being loud. Was close to Earl’s Court however.

The hotel was really fine 7/10 The issue was the sink size is really small which barely washing Your hand and face without splashing the water .

Hotel location really excellent and hotel cleanliness very up to standard too however room and shower really too small for a normal adult, it would be great if the hotel provide toothbrush and tooth paste.

Booked an Executive room based on reviews saying the standard rooms were very tiny, but when we checked in, we were assigned a very tiny room on the 2nd floor. The a/c wasn't working even after the front desk reset the system from the central control, so I went to look at another room in the basement which was slightly bigger or at least a less weird shape. But alas, the a/c wasn't working in that room either! Finally we ended up in yet another basement room that was slightly smaller but still a decent layout, which had an independent wall unit a/c (not centrally controlled) and it worked perfectly, so we were set. The room was facing the street so you could sort of see people walking by above you, which didn't bother us because the sheer curtains were always drawn. The staff at the front desk were patient with trying to resolve our problem but I would have appreciated a bit more proactive problem-solving on their part. Breakfast was very nice in a cute bar/breakfast room, good enough spread of continental breakfast plus cooked to order dishes.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Mornington Hotel in London and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Situated on a charming street, the hotel is surrounded by a plethora of restaurants, grocery shops, and convenient transportation options, including a train station and a bus station that can take you anywhere you desire in the city. The hotel itself has recently undergone renovations, and though the rooms may not be spacious, they are thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort and functionality. The compact size did not hinder my stay in any way, as I found everything I needed within reach. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional level of care and attention provided by the staff. Jessy and Dani, in particular, were outstanding in their commitment to ensuring the guests’ satisfaction. Always wearing a warm smile, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. Their genuine hospitality made a lasting impression on me and played a significant role in my decision to extend my stay beyond the initial four days. As a first-time visitor to London, I am grateful to have chosen this hotel as my base. The combination of its prime location, recent renovations, and the remarkable service provided by Jazzy and Dani made it an easy decision to prolong my stay. Called the day before about checking out very early at 3.30AM. Front desk staff advised that someone will be at the desk 24/7 . I rang a couple of times 15 mins prior to checking out as well but no one answering the help desk. So me and 2 other guests just left our swipe card key on desk with our name on it and the desk phone also kept on ringing but nobody was there. I understand that’s it is early but my Uber is already arrived. Breakfast have lots of choices, can get eggs cook your way with other proteins as well. Waitress Natalia when doing the floor I find was a bit too flustered and not friendly other floor staff also not that friendly either. The mattress is poor quality and uncomfortable it hurts my back and I don’t even have a bad back. Front desk staff upon checking in are very friendly ,polite and welcoming. It’s a good location but service needs improvement.

Overall it was a nice hotel in a good location. Cozy bed and nice bathroom. However, a few mishaps occurred… fire alarm went off twice in the morning, the air con in room was broken, the shampoo pump did not work, and the outlet for the blow dryer was too close to the desk which blocked the outlet accessibility. If these few things could be fixed it, I would recommend a stay.
