Bridgeside Guest House
9.3 (56 reviews)

Bridgeside Guest House ★★★★

📍 Bridgeside, Fore St, East Looe

"Amazing B&B !!!! Fantastic location with beautiful views of the harbour. Our room was perfect for 3 adults, we even had our own little outside space with table and chairs (room 5). Very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean, tea and coffee facilities and bottled water. The owners are truly amazing, very helpful, polite and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and great sized portions. Thank you for a lovely stay we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back very soon."

Fieldhead Hotel
8.7 (35 reviews)

Fieldhead Hotel ★★★

📍 Portuan Road, Looe

"This is more of a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. Room was nice but cramped and no wardrobe. The balcony was nice but open plan with the others and as a single person I felt bullied by the couple next door who were out there all day. So I couldn't enjoy it. The TV is impossible to use. The breakfast wasl imited very cheap products and not worth £10. But its cosy and you do feel at home there so I guess I would stay again"

The Gate Cornwall

The Gate Cornwall ★★★

📍 Polperro Rd, Looe

"Absolutely delicious meal. No wonder Charlie was a Masterchef finalist. Best food we’ve had in quite a while. Excellent service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff just topped off the experience. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning."

Trenderway Farm
9.1 (14 reviews)

Trenderway Farm ★★★★★

📍 Trenderway Farm, Looe

"I visited Trenderway Farm for their Sunday Roast in late October (27th), and it was superb. It was one of the best Sunday lunches we, as a family, had eaten for a very long time. We were expecting a carvery, but we actually got table service, which was very friendly and efficient. It was as fresh and well cooked as possible and frankly more than you could eat. The atmosphere was excellent, with plenty of space in the dining room, and very well-priced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it."

Trehaven Manor ★★★★

📍 Station Road, Looe

"Everything about this hotel is perfect. Set on a slight hill with access from the main road and directly across the road from the train station. Adequate car spaces for the 5 room guests within the hotel grounds. We stayed in a ground floor spacious and very clean room with picture postcard views of the estuary. Within the room are tea & coffee making facilities, a fridge, and biscuits, milk and bottles of water which were replenished daily. Ella the owner is the perfect host who serves a plentiful breakfast sourced from local suppliers. Would definitely return !"

Sawyers Bed and Breakfast

Sawyers Bed and Breakfast ★★★

📍 Marine Drive, Looe

"Really good place to stay, near to restaurants and shops in Looe. Tracey is a really good host, Breakfast is all fresh and cooked to order, would recommend this place to family and friends. A very relaxing stay, rooms are very clean and comftable"

Polraen Country House Hotel
9.8 (40 reviews)

Polraen Country House Hotel ★★★★

📍 Polraen Country House, Sandplace, Looe

"Staying at Polraen Country House Hotel in Cornwall, hosted by Gill and Martin, is an experience that feels less like a getaway and more like being welcomed home — only with far better breakfasts and views. From the moment you arrive, Gill and martins warmth and attention make you feel genuinely cared for. They have that rare gift of anticipating what guests might need before they even think to ask, whether it’s sharing local tips for exploring Looe and the surrounding countryside, or ensuring every detail of your stay runs smoothly. Martin’s charm and humour bring an easygoing atmosphere that perfectly complements the calm, elegant character of the house itself. The hotel — a lovingly restored 18th-century building — combines traditional Cornish charm with spotless comfort. The rooms are bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, each one reflecting the personal care that defines the entire property. Breakfasts are a highlight: locally sourced, beautifully cooked, and enjoyed in a sunny dining room overlooking the serene gardens. What truly stands out, though, is the sense of soul that Gill and Martin have cultivated at Polraen. It’s more than just a hotel — it’s a place where conversations linger, travellers connect, and the slower pace of Cornwall settles into your bones. In a world of generic stays, Polraen House is a reminder of what genuine hospitality feels like: authentic, heartfelt, and unforgettable great value and We cannot wait to visit again with the whole family and more friends"

The Hannafore Point Hotel ★★★
"Nice period hotel. Excellent staff although a bit thin on the ground. Had to walk from restaurant and queue in the bar for wine with our meal. Meal fine. But slow service. SALT AND PEPPER GRINDERS ON ALL TABLES DISGUSTING! Old discoloured perspex that were just dirty and horrid. Makes one wonder what state the kitchen equipment is like if this is the standard of items in public use? Also had to trek through another event in the ballroom for the gents. Apparently the ones by the Restaurant have been out of use all year!"

Bridgeside Guest House ★★★★
"Exceptional stay, in a clean very comfy guest house. The host Sammy was so welcoming! After my long 5 hour drive, I was met with a tray of a lovely strong pot of tea and biscuits. Breakfast was exceptional! I would easily have paid double the price I was charged. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks Sammy!"

Fieldhead Hotel ★★★
"I arrived at the hotel after arriving at some pre booked accommodation which turned out to be unacceptable on arrival. It was my birthday, and after a long journey and the stress of suddenly having nowhere to sleep, the Fieldhead hotel came to the rescue. We were greeted with the warmest welcome and a beautiful spotless, comfortable room with an amazing sea view and a bottle of chilled wine to enjoy in it. We had a dog with us which I was worried would be an issue but they greeted him with treats and fusses and made him just as welcome as we were. We were able to walk into town from there (about 20 mins) and found a good selection of dog friendly restaurants and would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Looe."

The Gate Cornwall ★★★
"We visited The Gate for a two night stay & stayed in The Loft studio apartment. The studio is very nice with a very comfortable bed, table & chairs, very nice shower room, balcony with gorgeous green countryside views, a bathtub on the balcony if you fancy a bit of alfresco bathing & a tiny kitchenette, which was very useful. There is also a good coffee machine with pods provided. The TV can also get Netflix etc & that was good too. There is a restaurant there too but it was closed during our stay & we didn’t need it as we had breakfast in our Loft studio. The owner Richard was excellent at communicating with us, giving us tips on restaurants & places & beaches nearby to go. He was an excellent host. I would definitely stay here again."

Trenderway Farm ★★★★★
"Unfortunately there was no hot water and therefore no heating for the first 2 days. It was miserably cold in our room and no electric heater offered. The free breakfast was not exactly free if you wanted full English. It involved driving down their single track lane 4 miles into Looe, paying £4 + for parking and then paying for tea or coffee. The receptionist disappeared after the initial meeting and was never around. I could go on...."

"Really nice hotel with an easy stroll into the heart of Looe. Ella was a fantastic host. She could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was amazing and all cooked to order from local produce. We had the dove suite overlooking the river which was enormous and there was the welcoming tea and coffee as well. We will definitely return. 5 star plus."

Sawyers Bed and Breakfast ★★★
"As a group of friends down on a fishing trip we stayed here for 5 nights and had a great stay. Very flexible around breakfast times as the tides dictate when you have to be on the boat and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Brilliant views across the bay with the sun rising over the far headland. Clean and comfy rooms with great breakfast."
