The Hannafore Point Hotel
"The hotel is really nice with a great atmosphere. We visited at lunchtime for their festive menu. We all agreed that the food was excellent. The staff were all really friendly and provided first class service. Nothing was too much trouble We’ll definitely return again."
Bridgeside Guest House
"We had a lovely stay as a family of four, just for one night this time but will definitely return. Nice to have a bar to grab a glass of wine etc before we headed out for the evening and a nice area to sit out and watch the boats go by. Great view from our room overlooking the water and everything we needed was provided for. Fabulous host both friendly and helpful and an excellent breakfast."
Fieldhead Hotel
"First impressions were good and facilities and room were impressive. BUT We stayed in room 12 where the bed advertised as a double was smaller and more like a queen size which made it uncomfortable for two people. The room was so hot with no air-con or a fan so we naturally opened all the windows which overlook the garden area. We were kept up until nearly 2am with the owners/staff talking very loudly right outside the window with all the garden lights on too. In addition to this, the room is directly above the reception where the lady who worked there was constantly chatting on her phone and you could hear the whole conversations through the floor. We found the staff to be very unprofessional considering they’re running a hotel and know that people are trying to sleep. Also, they were nowhere to be found when you actually needed someone. One morning we walked about a mile into the town to get a coffee because the machine needed to be filled, two other people had already asked but the lady was in the garden busy meditating!"

"Absolutely delicious meal. No wonder Charlie was a Masterchef finalist. Best food we’ve had in quite a while. Excellent service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff just topped off the experience. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning."
Polraen Country House Hotel
"Our second visit to this wonderful hotel . Brilliant location with fabulous hosts Martin and Gill for whom nothing is too much trouble . They have excellent local knowledge as well . Hotel cozy and comfortable with convenient access to local transport . Breakfasts are a delight with lots of choice and food cooked to order and beautifully presented ."
Trehaven Manor
"This hotel is fabulous and Ella is the most conscientious and considerate owner/manager anyone could hope for. The freshly prepared breakfasts are superb. Our room (Skylark) was very spacious, with a well stocked supply of hot drinks and even fresh milk, comfy bed and great ensuite shower. We stayed for 3 nights with 3 other couples to do some South West Coastal Path walking The only minor glitch is that the SatNav link on Google tried to navigate us down a no- through road. For ease of reference the steep entrance is by the Globe Inn and train station."
The Old Bridge House
"Charming little hotel perfectly placed to enjoy a few days in Looe. Colin and Liz give such attention to detail and it is a warm and friendly atmosphere. The lovely veranda overlooking the river is perfect for relaxing The breakfast is amazing too"
