Rafaelhoteles Ventas is in a good location, close to the metro station (El Carmen). Hygiene is good, bed linen is changed daily. Breakfast is according to the ”buffet table” principle, but it is monotonous and with a small selection. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

I stayed 2 nights to which I added a third and I have to say everything perfect. Beginning with the kindness and courtesy of Manuela who filled me with attention. All staff was available and kind. I am no longer a kid and I found myself very well, the operation of the structure has been explained to me well, everything is kept clean and the visitors also have to say very educated and quiet. For what I read elsewhere of some criticism is true that there are not many bathrooms, but I have never had any problems to find it always free. Even the capsules are not as noisy as some describe, it depends on the guests even if it is obviously better.

A mini-hotel in the classic Madrid entrance of the central area's residential house. It is located 5 minutes walk from the Sal Square, 3 minutes from the Chueca Metro, from the Barahas Airport 40-45 minutes by the metro. Comfortable rooms, more area than usual in Madrid. Nearby a lot of cafes, restaurants and shops. Excellent budget option for travel to Madrid. I recommend.

We called to check in late and the host told us he would wait for us. However, when we arrived there was no one there, no one was picking up the phone, and we only managed to get in through sheer luck. There were no messages or instructions sent to us.

We arrived at the hotel on Thursday, 21 July, the room was not cleaned, all was dirt, the night boxes were dirty, all the paint points were made, the shower was broken and the water went along the back. The shower doors couldn't be closed, so the whole bathroom was wet, the bathroom was dirty, and there were brown fingerprints on the wall in the bathroom. The toilet glasses moved when you sat on it. There was a joint on the balcony. The rooms were super-hearing, we could hear our neighbors shower, hear talk, hear walking, so bad that you woke up in the night. The hairföhn was not standard in the room, this could borrow you at the reception. There was no safe for stuff, so we didn't feel good, and finally we had no air conditioning. During our stay it was about 40 degrees. We also checked if there was air conditioning in the room. This would be there. This was not there. There was a air grid in the room that would have to bring cold air, the controller was in the hall and controlled the temperature of each room, which was apparently often detonated or at a higher temperature, which would make it warm again. We had it after one night and we wanted to leave as soon as possible, and we reported it at the reception and it was immediately ordered that we had the money back from the rest of the nights. This is the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel, the list of our comments was immediately reviewed and the room was checked, and I hope that something will be done.

I have stayed in many hostels before but at TOC it was the first time I stayed in a shared room ( female only). I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect but it turned out great. The hostel is awesome, has friendly staff and is the most modern hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were quite nicely soundproofed as you couldn't hear much from the hallways as it is usual for other hostels. In my 6 bed female room, we had 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 showers - it was enough. :) I will be coming back, definitely!

Close to the airport (about 10 min by taxi), suitable for transit but not for visiting Madrid. Clean and functional apartment. Pool very cold. The staff is very professional and caring though.

The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, very comfortable and comfortable. We stayed at the Hotel Opera recently for the second time, to celebrate a special Wedding Anniversary. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel is centrally located, right next to the Opera House and close to all the attractions of central Madrid. We had nothing but excellent service from the staff throughout our whole stay - they are very responsive and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you need including a few little extras like a comb and shoeshine. Breakfast was excellent every morning, a great choice of English-style and continental offerings, The Spanish tortilla and home-made fruit tarts are particularly recommended. You need to book breakfast at a specific time, and this avoids the ”scrum” that some previous reviewers have described. Just two things prevent me giving a 5-star review. First of all it is some time since the hotel was refurbished so some of the fittings are starting to look a little tired. Secondly the cafe has changed since we were last there, it used to be possible to get tapas-style snacks from a counter display 24/7, now it is table service with hot food only available when the kitchen is open - in the evening it starts serving at 8pm which is a little late for us, so if you feel the same you need to go out to one of the many good tapas bars around. But overall we love this hotel and will certainly revisit!
