Very nice room, overall clean and comfortable. I don’t understand why there is a kitchen if there is no utensils. I didn’t need it, but fix this for other guests. The water from the pool is not clear, so I didn’t swim. Breakfast is great, WiFi works well, water pressure great, AC perfect. Check-in takes too long, but in Brazil it is like this. I would come back.

Probably the best 4 stars hotel in Manaus. Way better than the Intercity Hotel. The rooms are clean and so is the swimming pool. The views are not as nice as other hotels in the city but definitely not bad. Would definitely come back if I am ever in Manaus.

Overall I am only giving 5 stars because I guess it must be hard to keep a good strandart within those level of humidity. But just to comment, it was a drop of water in the main reception with a bucket to collect water for about 3 days I stayed here, the breakfast was OK, and the last day no hot water. Thanks God the quality of the bed, and the bed sheet was amazing. I am a big fan of Mercure. The best Mercure? Not really, but again, considering the difficulties it was OK. Staff friendly too

Bugs on the breakfast food. Ugly red bug crawling on my bed. No English captions or English voice-over was available on any of the TVs in any of the rooms in the entire hotel. "It's not possible," the front desk's receptionist informed me. Only CNN in English. No vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. Took a while to translate I wanted pasta with no meat and it was tasteless. I had to change rooms because of the bug. No hand soap or lotion in the bathrooms until you ask. 1 scratchy hand dry towel and 1 scratchy body towel in bathroom. Dogs barking outside both rooms I got. On my last night, I had to ask the front desk receptionist three times to quiet down the kids in the room next to me. Slow service. More issues but that's enough. Terrible experience overall.

In this hotel is really hard to find someone who speak any other language than portuguese; they do not speak english, spanish, Italian or any other. In addition, the makes you pay an additional tax if someone comes into your room just for few time, not to sleep of course, like the room was for two people when it is for one. Really strange! One night the elevator was opening and closing the doors all the night in the floor.... I couldn't sleep. One day I go for breakfast but there was a political talk, after a few minutes of waiting (there was no place to sit) I had breakfast in the middle of this talk with many people, photografers and so... another strange moment.

3 bad experiences out of 3 recently. Two of the three times there was no hot water, and not only was there no water but when I was leaving my night without a shower I notified the person at the reception who simply answered me as if nothing had happened that they would have some next month! Oh well, but in the meantime no notice when checking in for the night!! For a better price you can get much better in Manaus. Go to Quality next door instead.

Great hotel option in Manuas. Mercure standard. Good breakfast, good shower, quality internet, good pool and gym and excellent location. Close to everything...pharmacy, market, shopping, restaurants and everything else. Highly recommended.

Por se tratar da rede Accor e pelo preço que cobram o mínimo que exigimos qualidade no serviço. Há pontos positivos e negativos que gostaria de ressaltar: Positivos: Excelente localização, próximo ao shopping Manauara, atendentes atenciosos, utilizei o serviço de Maleiro, bom café da manhã e cardário jantar ok. Negativos: no quarto não possui cofre, inadmissivel para um hotel como o Mercure, dentro do quarto precisa realizar pequenas manutenções prediais, parede descascando, limpeza a desejar, algumas coisas enferrujadas. Na academia precisa urgente de manutenção nas esteiras, tinha duas, uma funcionando mais ou menos e a outra sem condições de uso, a coisa mais bizarra que presenciei foi vazamento de agua no teto do corredor do quarto, avisei a recepção e o plano de ação que fizeram foi colocar um balde, até a minha saída não tinham feito a manutenção. Pelo alto valor cobrado, esses pontos que mencionei é o mínimo que esperamos de um hotel como o Mercure.
