A great location close to Manchester Victoria station loads of bars and clubs and niche shopping. Was here for a music gig the other side of the city but Uber there and back was very easy. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and fun and the morning breakfast was extensive and a good selection of most things. It’s a clean and surprisingly quiet hotel as it’s right on a very busy main road. It’s a budget hotel so not too many frills no fridge or iron but everything worked really well good bed and good shower and for me that’s the main selling factor of a hotel room.

The hotel was clean, tidy, with simple amenities. The only criticisms are that due to the location of the hotel it is noisy as it is located right next to a main road. Also, the rooms can get very warm as there is no air conditioning.

I’ve booked a room with a bathtub, and the staff designated a room without it. I can accept they could make a mistake, but the staff didn’t apologize for his mistake when I asked for a room change.

Good location for pubs and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and have everything one needs for a few nights away. Not our first time staying here and it won’t be our last. Extremely good value for money and would recommend for others.

The room was basic as expected and the bed was quite comfy but the noise from the outside traffic was too much. There was constant beeping from taxi's, sirens from police and ambulance, general traffic noise as hotel is based on a busy junction. This was going on until around 4 a.m., making going to sleep difficult.

Due to an issue with the door lock at this hotel on our room and only certain staff knowing how to unlock it meant we were sat on the floor outside our room for 50 minutes whilst the reception team tried to contact a manager. At one point we were advised we may have to stay elsewhere tonight, I explained I was type 1 diabetic and my insulin etc was in the room however this did not seem to be of concern to them. After failed attempts, we were given a master key to use. Will not be staying at this travelodge again. The Piccadilly one is much nicer so recommend that one instead.

On arrival we fond the receptionist was uninterested and unhelpful. The room was not very clean and smelt damp. I understand that this is a budget hotel but you do expect the room to be clean. I am not altogether convinced that we had clean sheets as they were very creased.

Our room was small and smelt damp. Bathroom not very clean and the hotel felt dated. Location was the only good think about it. Would not stay here again

Me and my partner visited this Travelodge to watch a game. We stayed for one night. Room was nice, but someone broke into our room when we were resting. What's worse is that there was no lock from inside the room to prevent it from happening again, nor was the hotel team paying genuine concern over this. We had to carry all valuables including two laptops and ipad to the match and spent extra to have them stored.

Well the check in was ok, but couldn’t access the room as the key card didn’t work Went down to reception to get that sorted to be greeted by a member of staff telling me I had to wait for the next lift as she was using that one!!!! Customers service at it finest with her. The room is not very clean and it’s very small. They are paint chips all over in the windows round the light switches and in the bathroom where there is also graffiti ie sharpie pens writing all over the ceiling??? The lack of plug sockets is also an issue.. there’s one where the kettle plugs in a one behind the tv that you can’t actually access. There are no usb sockets either which is pretty standard in most other hotels. First tie staying here and it will definitely be the last. Travelodge really need to sort out these dated tired old rooms

Staff were incredibly rude upon arrival and in helpful. Room was dirty and ridiculously basic for the price charged. Only one toilet roll supplied in a dirty bathroom and also No hairdryer, basics. Only one lyft working for a full hotel and waiting was awful.

Booked this Travelodge to be close to the co op live arena for a gig. ( 30 mins brisk walk) Although there is no parking there were several car parks nearby so this was not a problem. The room was perfect for our needs and very clean. The staff were all super attentive and helpful, especially Danka, Matthew and Alex. The location was also perfect for shopping with plenty to visit. We were located on the 3rd floor facing the busy road which, although constantly noisy was not an issue for us. We felt very safe on the streets nearby which is always a concern for us. All in all we had a super time and would definitely return to this Travelodge if we find ourselves in Manchester again.

Terrible noises all night in room 210 whenever neighbours used the loo, shower or taps! Clearly heard cleaners and other guests talking in the corridors. A very poor nights sleep.
