Ambre Epices Medina Riad

We cannot rave enough about this Riad. The rooftop breakfasts are different and delicious every day. The rooms are kept spotless and are very comfortable. The public areas are well appointed and really attractive. The hammam and massage was really amazing - a real experience where they really looked after you so well. We did the package with the hour masssge and it was SO worth it. (The pool is a dip pool not a swimming pool btw).The location is peaceful but central - not in mega tourist zone which would not be so good tbh but easy access and there are more authentic streets nearby and good places to eat close. (Try the Pikala - a local bike cafe which is a social enterprise). But most of all big shout out to the staff - they really can’t do enough to help and genuinely care about their guests. They even arranged a free taxi back to airport - and the uplift service was only 20 euros and totally worth arranging!! Particular thanks to Abdul who was so gentle and kind! Thanks everyone- we loved our stay.

I can honestly say this was one or the best trips that I've been on and what made it was the outstanding service from the full team at the Riad. I visited with my husband and 3 friends for a 4 night break in January to get some winter sun. The riad arranged transfers from the airport and we were met on the street by a member of the team who led us to the hotel and transported out bags. We were greeted warmly by name on arrival in Riad and given tea and treats while we waited for our rooms. Siahn then took time to ask what we wanted to do while on our trip and planned every small detail for us including some fabulous restaurant recommendations. Nothing was ever too much! The service was personal and better than most five star hotels that we have stayed in. Siahn is a credit to the Riad, she truly is outstanding. The suite that we booked was excellent, the interior was done to a high standard and the bathroom was next level luxury. We organised a cooking lesson in the Riad with the chef Fatima. We met at 11am, went to the markets with Siahn and Fatima to buy the ingredients and then cooked lunch together and enjoyed it on the rooftop with some wine we purchased while out and about (the Riad is dry but they were happy to provide an ice bucket and glasses) As a *** couple we were slightly nervous about staying in Morocco but it was as never an issue and we felt safe and welcome at all times. The Riad is in a great location with some many restaurants, bars and the souks just a short walk away. It’s the ideal location! As a group we have now decided to make it an annual trip, the hotel was extremely affordable and had the most perfect set up. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday! We can’t wait to come back and stay with you guys again

This road gives you a proper luxury feel. It’s a mixture of traditional and modern Moroccan style. The staff really made us feel at home. Delicious breakfast was served on the pleasant roof terrace. Our room was spacious and bed was comfortable. We also had a nice Hammam and massage treatment. The dinner was also really good. The only negative thing I can think of is that you can’t buy alcohol here. But there’s only a short walk to the nearest restaurant that serves alcohol so it wasn’t really an issue. The riad is in a cul de sac and it’s nice and quiet.

This hotel is right in the heart of everything. It’s small but has everything you need. The hotel staff are very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely recommended this hotel. Make sure to get them to meet you as it’s hard to find, especially at night.

With only two nights in Marrakesh we could not have found a better location within the medina to stay. This part of the medina is quieter (so less motorcycles whizzing around and less crowds), a nice respite from the otherwise very busy, chaotic and touristic medina. The riad itself is gorgeous with traditional materials used throughout, lovely multi-level rooftop terrace to enjoy breakfast and comfortable courtyard/sitting areas on the ground floor to truly be able to relax during the afternoons/evenings. Our suite was spacious, and although facing the courtyard done in such a way to offer a private area for the bed, which was extremely comfortable. I also treated myself to the in-house hamam and massage both of which I highly recommend! Breakfast was tasty and dinner was delicious! Karim and Kamel communicated efficiently prior to and throughout our stay and were always present and attentive to all the guests – they added to the warm and friendly atmosphere within the common spaces that were so conducive to relaxing and chatting.
