Hello The Hotel itself is satisfactory apart from the water that stagnates in the bathtub, the TV is placed in the bathroom, I do not see why the room was not made, not cleaned (sheets, towels, etc.) during the 3 nights Toilet brush HS and no trash cans in the room Too bad that breakfast is not served in the sun on the terrace because in February it is very cool in the patio by the pool. The caretaker is not efficient at all, he does not offer anything and is not always there when you ring (I think there is also a problem with the doorbell on the outside door) I do not think that this Riad is worth 4 stars especially because of this lack of organization of the caretaker. But I would come back to Marrakech The friendly manager

Location was excellent and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Our room was amazing and we loved the breakfasts. The area felt very safe and there were plenty of small local shops to pick up water and snacks. A few minutes walk to the main square, the souks and lots of great restaurants.

Firstly I thought it was charming, finding it was a challenge, because it difficult to know who you can trust when asking directions. As it takes a while to settle into a very different culture. The room a standard was adequate, the presentation was very good however the plumbing was poor the fittings all wobbly the sink tap leaked and the shower showed signs of mould. The absence of hot beverage facilities was missed. The staff were delightful and very helpful

This Riad is a complete disaster. Everything is dirty, the rooms are completely worn out! All plants are dead and most of the pots are broken. The photos of the owner on the internet do not give any impression of the reality. We feel misled and cheated. After arriving, we immediately booked another hotel and left. We have never encountered anything worse than this on our holidays.

This is not a 4* riad, not even close. Our room was dark, dirty, no maintenance at all. Not all the lightbulbs worked, lamps broken, walls cracked, very dirty sheets, other people's hair. Old worn out towels with holes in them. It was also freezing during the night and we had no extra blankets or a way to heat up the room. After complaining about it they gave us a dirty old heater and a very dirty blanket with some yellow stains on it. Breakfast is served outside and it was 5 deg Celsius that morning. We also got a half eaten butter (small 10g one) left from the guests before us. Forks were dirty with some leftover eggs on them. And we payed 100 € a night for this! This riad is below every hygienic standard, probably a 2* accommodation not worth more than 20 € a night. I would avoid this place at all cost.

The rooms are somewhat small and dark. Not much light both naturally and electrically. I found a peculiar smell in my room which might have come from an exposed tank in the bathroom.. see photo. The small rug next to my bed looked as if not washed in forever. My last morning I had a visitor crawling first on the floor and then on the curtain. On the positive side, the staff are always available with a smile and breakfast was home made. Breakfast was composed of rolls, croissants, coffee or tea, cheese, butter, jams. There is a beautiful large suite on the first floor which might be great to request. If you are a light sleeper, sound travels easily to all the room’s surrounding the courtyard including the second floor. There is a pretty rooftop area. Laundry facilities are limited should you need wash done. I would consider this Riad a two to three star facility.

Riad Faraj was our first stop on our Moroccan adventure. Abdul was extremely helpful from the beginning, setting up an airport taxi pick up for us straight to the riad. He made us feel right at home, welcoming us with mint tea and biscuits. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the riad itself was beautiful and in a great location steps from the Medina. We had a spectacular pool side dinner and breakfast where Afid provided us with white glove service. Highly recommend Riad Faraj and will definitely be coming back!

This is a clean, well lighted riad. Shout outs to Busha at the hammam -- she is incredible--and to Ousama who served us a fabulous dinner and breakfast. He is so pleasant, so accommodating and so gracious. The food is extremely tasty. Themassage too was terrific. Fefinitely experience the sap and hamman and have dinner at the Riad. I just wish the airconditioning was working in the room (although Abdul claimed it was). Fortunately, I could keep the doors to the balconies open so it was not too hot at night but my sister's room had no balcony and she had a hard time sleeping.

We stayed for 4 nights here having never visited Marrakech before so I didn't know what to expect. I was aware the Riads were setup different to normal hotels, such as no TVs in the rooms, limited WiFi etc but thought it would be a more traditional way to experiencing the country. Firstly the staff were fantastic, especially Hafid, who looked after us the entire time and seemed to be there no matter the time of day or night. Breakfast was included and was perfectly serviceable, with a small selection of continental style offerings. The room, a superior, was fine. I prefer a harder mattress which this definitely was. My opinion was it was no frills, but I do wish they had a safe in the wardrobe and I really missed an in room tea/coffee station but again this isn't setup like a traditional hotel. The location is probably the biggest draw as it's located about a 5-10 minute walk from the Jamaa El Fna square. Overall would recommend.
