Riad Moullaoud

Rashid and all the staff were over the top friendly and accommodating. The Hammam, food, and service here is not to be missed when visiting Marrakech! Also great at referrals for restaurants and experiences,,,,you must stay in one of their four connected Riads!

Pros - Beautiful quirky Riad with lovely helpful staff. Our room was full of character with the best bed sheets of our trip! Delicious tea! We loved the stray cat family on the roof. Nice meal on our first night. Delicious breakfast. Cons - Jacuzzi in pictures is only for one private suite. There's a fence around the top pool so only 2 beds up there. Pools are FREEZING.

The hosts have been fantastic ever since the booking. They arranged the transfers to and from the airport which was great as finding your bearings is difficult for the first time you journey here. The accomodation was very spacious, lots of different areas including a roof top pool and lovely bath and shower. All of it was spotlessly clean and fresh towels provided daily. The breakfasts were delicious and authentic, just right for a day out exploring. Mostly though the friendly staff and hospitality made the experience one I'd recommend to anyone!

This riad was the most expensive one we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Morocco, and it was the most disappointing. We checked the website ahead of time for info on where to park our rental car nearby, and no information was provided. We reached out via email to ask for information on nearby parking options. All they responded back with was there are nearby parking options. No help at all. Once we got there, they had us pay for our stay as soon as we checked in. This should've been a red flag as no other riads or accommodations we stayed at in Morocco did this. Our room was fine, except the bathroom is essentially in the bedroom. You can see the person sitting on the toilet from the bed. The shower didn't drain, so we had to stand in cold water. The shower is also right by the fire alarm, which went off early in the morning as we're trying to shower. We had to leave early the next day to go to our next destination, so the day before we confirmed with the front desk staff about an earlier breakfast. They said they could have breakfast for us at 7 am and even wrote it on our check-in papers. The next morning, no one was around. We waited until 7:30am and still no one was around. We finally left and were delayed for our road trip because of this. It was extremely disappointing, as all other riads in Morocco that we stayed at were so accommodating with breakfast times. Perhaps they just forgot? Anyways, we left a note with our whats app number for them to reach out. I also emailed them. That was 12 days ago, and no response to date. Terrible customer service. At least a quick apology would've been nice. Also, questionable security as there is no one around the riad in the evenings, night, or morning. If there was an emergency, there would be no way to contact the staff.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful reception and our incredible experience during our first visit to Morocco. A special shoutout to the friendly and helpful staff at Riad Moullaoud for making our stay truly memorable specially the gentleman in the picture, Rachid if I’m not wrong . He was always available and eager to assist us, providing directions, explaining the various attractions, and helping us with bookings whenever needed ! The riad itself is beautifully authentic and charming! 10-15 min walking distance from the souks . Our room was tastefully decorated and very cozy. The only minor issue we encountered was with the Wi-Fi, as we were unable to access it from our room. Additionally, I cannot forget to mention the lovely breakfast served on the terrace, which offered a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the beautiful weather of Marrakech. I already miss everything about our stay. The riad exceeded all our expectations, and I sincerely hope to return soon.

My experience in this Riad was amazing, the breakfast was nice, enjoying it with the nature around me. I would advise you be open minded to get the best out of the experience and the traditional setting of the Riad. The Riad gives you an insight of what a typical royal home in Marrakech looks like. I enjoyed my stay, a big thanks to Rashid the receptionist for the warm welcome.
