Hôtel Marseille Centre Gare Saint-Charles

Right opposite to the train station, superb location. Might not be too good if you wanna explore the more city center of it - yet you have a direct train connecting to the old port in under 5 mins if you want to. Neat and clean, despite might look a bit aged inside and the bathroom would spill over some water, it is exceptionally good given the price and location. Standard breakfast, but good enough for the day!

The location is excellent just across Gare Marseille St. Charles. Hotel room is spacious, with AC, hair dryer and electric kettle. Linen is very clean. Bathroom is very neat. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast served with various types of cold cut, cereals, bakeries, fruit salad, juice, milk, soy milk, coffee. I stayed for 3 nights and breakfast menu throughout was the same. No bottled water was provided in the room but it wasn't an issue to us. Free water machine is provided at the hotel lobby.Room wasn't tided up daily but I trust they are willing to do so if guests requested. Overall it was a pleasant stay and will recommend to friends.

Convenient location for train catch-up, great service! However, the facilities are really old, our room on the 8th floor has a strong smell from the sink. The rooms facing the Main Street are very noisy. Also as mentioned by other reviewers, very limited options for breakfast.

Preferred this hotel to the Japanese one next door. Really much better on price, quality of the room and breakfast. Plus closer to train station - literally outside of the gates.

Strategic location, just in front of the train station and next door is carrefour. Parking lot is limited and a bit narrow. From our room can view the castle from mountain.

The hotel is right opposite the train station. The window is sound-proof, so it's quiet. Shower water pressure is slightly low but still ok. Breakfast was simple.
