The hotel doesn't accept cash for the deposit, so keep that in mind when booking – it's card only! When we booked, we asked for a room away from the elevator and not a corner room… they gave us the exact opposite – right by the elevator and a corner room… almost as if on purpose… which was quite unpleasant. The breakfasts were good. The pool has saltwater."

To be honest, the soundproofing is not very good as I could hear conversations that were not that loud. Other than that, the location and the staff's response were good, so a room on a different floor or facing might have given a different impression."

This establishment is new but lacks maintenance in both the common areas and the rooms and apartments. Dirty sheets and towels, limescale marks in the bathroom, etc. It's a real shame. The rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served offers a magnificent view."

"Problem with the parking lot on arrival which closes too quickly, we find ourselves stuck downstairs, we arrive at reception we are told no air conditioning ok, some lights in the room do not work and impossible to connect to the TV no wifi... on the other hand the staff is super welcoming and pleasant, the breakfast is wonderful, 10 minutes from the Velodrome stadium practical."

"I knew it was close to Marseille train station, but I didn't expect it to be this close—just a 200-meter walk. The room wasn't big; it felt a bit cramped with two 28-inch suitcases open. The breakfast met European three-star standards, and the small courtyard was a plus. It's not far from any of the attractions, within a 20-minute walk."

"Stayed two nigths and was a great location. On the Corniche and just along from Catalan beach at the begining of the coast. Away from the hustle of the Vieux Port yet easily walkable and reachable , so the best of both worlds. Felt like 15 mins to reach Vieux Port on a pleasnat walk in, and and there was always plenty of people about at all times of day and night, so felt safe. It was also easily reachable by the 83 bus that runs constantly from the Vieux Port along the coast. There is a stop just across the road from the hotel to arrive and to leave right next door. Views are stunning, across the bay from the bed rooms that have wall to ceiling glass. The bathroom has a blind you can pull down for privacy and still see a view through your side, and the bedroom has a sliding glass door to open for air. Air con in the room was fine, but when arrived was off, but they fixed it and staff can operate, fix and repair air con from reception. Nice complimentary drinks in room and some biscuits and fruit on arival. Roof top bar was nice for a drink and views before you go into town. Sound wasn't such an issue despit Catalans beach being a busy city one. Could hear abit of cars at times in night, but then silence and wasn't an issue for me. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Big shout out to the young man who wrote me a suggestion of beaches to visit close by and further a field. There is a small spa in the basement and I took a massage that was good. On my last morning i went to the roof top pool. Totally desrted and just lovely views from up there. All in all a lovely relaxing stay, with great views a super location and nice staff."

"The room facilities and services should be OK, but friends who drive themselves must pay attention that the hotel does not have its own parking lot. You can only park in a public parking lot next door, and then walk 200 to 300 meters from the outside with your suitcase. And because it is located in Laogang, this parking lot is full before 10 pm. It was really frustrating when I arrived on the first night. It is mainly recommended for friends who do not drive themselves."

"The pros: Top-floor apartment with a small terrace. Brand new and very functional: fully equipped kitchen, tasteful decor, attic bedroom, very comfortable bed, and complete darkness. Ideally located between the Old Port and the Canebière/Noailles district. Very well soundproofed. Attentive housekeeper for mid-stay cleaning and check-out. Minor remarks: No real separation from the neighbors' terrace. You can see each other if you're using it at the same time. Reversible air conditioning: we couldn't get it to raise the temperature even slightly in November."

"The street where the hotel is located is not that elegant, but not bad, but the environment near the Arc de Triomphe is really terrible. The receptionist was a gentle black gentleman. He said that there were only rooms on the first floor. At our request, we were given a room with a balcony on the second floor. However, we were not allowed to open the door to the balcony in the room. This rule was very strange and did not happen anywhere else in France. I have encountered this kind of rule, but fortunately the room facilities are good."
