Novotel Suites Marseille Centre Euroméd
"This hotel is very outdated. It’s not at the Novotel standards. Yes the room size is big but that’s probably the only big plus. Otherwise the priority is cost control not customer satisfaction. Public spaces are very tiny. The tram station at the hotel doorstep is very convenient."
Hotel Ligo by HappyCulture
"Very clean and comfortable. It has a small bathtub, and the surroundings are quiet. The front desk staff was very friendly. This hotel left a great impression on me."

"Excellent location. We were there the weekend before Christmas. The Christmas market, concert, fireworks and drone show were just 5 min walk away. Room is a bit small but clean and comfortable. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate at the lobby was a huge plus point too."

Best Western Plus Hotel la Joliette
"Second stay at this hotel. Convenient for when traveling to / from the cruise port or airport. The hotel itself is very nice, small but great character and good facilities. We had a double floor mezzanine family room. Great room with comfy beds, clean, good amenities and nice bathroom, fridge, coffee machine etc so everything you need. There are two big downsides to this hotel that are out of their control. The old big French doors / windows look great but are not good at all for sound. We were on the 5th floor and heard cars, sirens, mopeds and people until the early hours and this does impact sleep. The second thing is the area, not a pleasant place at night. Lots of Homeless, rough sleepers and not a welcoming place. For us, simply going there to sleep and be comfortable and have a nice room it was good and we’d stay again, but it is expensive when you consider the area and noise at night vs some other better located hotels in Marseille"
Nhow Marseille
"Disappointing stay for a 4-star hotel. On my first night, the air conditioning didn’t work for the whole hotel and the room was around 25°C, making it very uncomfortable. The front desk was not helpful and no solution to be provided when I reported the issue. The pool and cleanliness is ok. Overall, not up to the expected standard."
Alex Hotel & Spa
"Perfect base for an early train. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Easy check in. We arrived late and had a room in the rear building. Comfortable nights sleep with no exterior noise. Very clean and the room has a kettle with tea/coffee sachets and milk powder. Complimentary customer use coffee machine at reception. Early start for us, so didn't book breakfast or use spa, but would definitely stay again"
Urban Loft & Spa Marseille
"The hotel has a great location, right next to Charles Central Station. The rooms are fully equipped, seemingly designed for long-term rentals, even including pots, pans, an induction cooker, a microwave, and a range hood. However, there's no elevator, and the spiral staircase is very difficult to navigate; carrying luggage up to the third floor was exhausting! So exhausting!"
Le Petit Nice - Passedat
"We have stayed at many Relais & Chateaux hotels in our travels. We count on them to assure a high level of quality. We were shocked that this hotel earned that designation: it is not nearly at the same high standards that one expects from a hotel in the Relais & Chateaux group. You drive up a tiny, narrow street to reach the hotel, which is behind a prison-like barrier that is opened to permit you to enter (very odd). When you return from a walk, no staff member comes out to greet you; there is no lobby (let alone a gracious entry); you walk up cement stairs to your room in undecorated hallways. The very small room was so barren and devoid of any upholstered furniture, that one might describe it as spartan. It was the opposite of luxurious, gracious, charming, or attractive. In fact, it felt like a very expensive hostel. There was virtually no shelf or counter space for one's personal items in the room, barely any dresser drawer space, lights that were impossible to figure out, a terrace that was not private from the guest terraces on either side of ours (so one had to look at and listen to one's neighbors lying on their terraces), inattentive and disinterested staff, and below average breakfast service and food on the terrace. The ONLY thing that this hotel has going for it is the view of the sea from the terraces, which is gorgeous. But the hotel itself is a total disappointment - there have to be better quality hotels in Marseille which offer a view of the sea. We would never return, nor would we recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Everything was great, the service, the staff and the location is great."
