Toyoko INN Marseille Saint Charles ★★★
Located near Marseille Saint-Charles Station, this hotel offers a practical base for travellers arriving by train or setting out to explore the region.
Hotel Ligo by HappyCulture ★★★★
"First, the positives: The breakfast was fantastic, and the coffee was great, which is a rare find at this price point. The room had a kettle, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the Old Port. The lobby offered free coffee and croissants. I was really worried about service staff in France only speaking French, but everyone at this hotel spoke excellent English. Now for the issues I encountered: Initially, I was given a room on the fourth floor. When I pulled back the covers, I found a significant amount of hair on the pillows, which seemed to be a mix of human and animal hair (this hotel is pet-friendly). Lifting the duvet revealed even more hair, making it seem like the cleaning staff hadn't changed the bedding at all. The front desk immediately offered me another room on the same floor. After moving my luggage, I still found a small amount of hair when I pulled back the covers in the new room. I then asked the front desk for a fresh set of sheets and duvet covers. They offered to move me again, this time to a room on the 6th floor. This room was much better, but the pillowcases had yellow stains on all four corners. I requested new pillowcases from the front desk and changed them myself. One minor concern: The hotel isn't on the main street and is a bit close to the train station, which made me slightly uneasy walking around at night."
Appart Hotel Odalys City Marseille le Dôme ★★★
"The room was great, very close to the metro station, and there were many shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, making shopping very convenient. This was my second time staying at this hotel, and it's a must-stay hotel when visiting Marseille."
Campanile NATURE - Marseille Saint-Antoine ★★★
"Friendly reception staff, very well-appointed and clean rooms. Pleasantly surprised"
Novotel Marseille Centre Gare ★★★
"Bonjour! The staff here are top-notch, attentive, and proactive. Professionalism, politeness, and helpfulness truly define them!"
New Hotel le Quai - Vieux Port ★★★★
"Great location, right around the corner from the Old Port with tons of restaurants nearby. You can park your car in the Carrefour underground garage. It's even walkable to Notre-Dame de la Garde. The room was bigger than I expected; with the sofa bed pulled out, we could still open three large suitcases without blocking the way. Breakfast was quite average and a bit monotonous."
Hôtel Mercure Marseille Centre Vieux-Port ★★★★
Comfortable accommodation close to the Old Port, providing convenient access to shopping streets, cultural sites, and Marseille's lively city centre.
Hôtel Life Marseille VP - Vieux Port ★★★
"Excellent location, new facilities, clean, and friendly staff."
easyHotel Marseille Euromed ★★
"It was clean hotel Cozy and good Just the fact that you couldn’t access fresh air in your room was odd for me."

Mercure Marseille Centre Prado Vélodrome
"The hotel is very well located, especially for the Vélodrome stadium. It's very clean, and the check-in service was great on the day we arrived. The young men working there were really kind. We enjoyed our stay at the Vélodrome with our two daughters. However, on April 27th, we encountered a woman at the reception who handled the hotel payment poorly, causing us to be charged twice. Even though I clearly explained that I had already paid, I was unfortunately debited a second time. I had to call back to request a refund. After that, everything went smoothly, and we received our refund two days later. 🤩"
Zenitude Hôtel-Résidences Marseille Prado
Stay in Marseille's Prado district with convenient access to public transport, local shops, Parc Chanot, and the Orange Vélodrome stadium.
The Babel Community Hôtel - Vieux Port
"Stayed at this establishment twice, in a room and then in an apartment. The place is ideally located in the city center, a stone's throw from the old port. This establishment is new but lacks maintenance in both the common areas and the rooms and apartments. Dirty sheets and towels, limescale marks in the bathroom, etc. It's a real shame. The rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served offers a magnificent view."
Hotel Sylvabelle
"If you’re looking for cheap, sure Otherwise, it’s definitely not your choice"
Best Western Plus Hotel la Joliette
"Superbe"
Radisson Blu Hotel, Marseille Vieux Port
"No espresso machine, but great location and very clean, very nice pool!"
Crowne Plaza - Marseille Le Dôme by IHG
"From the train station, take the M1 subway for three stops, then walk for 10 minutes. There are two supermarkets within a three-minute walk of the hotel. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is available."
Novotel Marseille Vieux-Port
"This isn't our first time staying here, and everything was excellent again. Just one breakfast with a view of the harbor makes it worth every penny."
InterContinental Hotels MARSEILLE - HOTEL DIEU by IHG
Luxury hotel housed in a historic landmark building near the Old Port, combining elegant accommodation with a prestigious waterfront location.
Urban Loft & Spa Marseille
"Superiorly located apartment-style hotel with very good reception staff for luggage storage. Value for money next to the station. The bungalows have sofa beds, no elevator, not recommended for those who have difficulty walking up the stairs, and those who are afraid of night noise (currently working 24 hours from St. Charles Station across the street). Clean, bright, plenty of towels, spacious and beautifully designed kitchen and bathroom, very pleasant place."
Aparthotel Adagio Marseille Timone
"Everyone spoke English and was very helpful, but the air conditioning didn’t work. Evidently it wasn’t working for anyone! I was allowed to borrow a fan, but definitely needed to open a window also. At this point, being so close to the hospital (ambulances) wasn’t great. Couldn’t be helped though."
Alex Hotel & Spa
"I knew it was close to Marseille train station, but I didn't expect it to be this close—just a 200-meter walk. The room wasn't big; it felt a bit cramped with two 28-inch suitcases open. The breakfast met European three-star standards, and the small courtyard was a plus. It's not far from any of the attractions, within a 20-minute walk."
La Residence du Vieux Port
"The view is great and I would love to stay here again! Highly recommended"
B&B Hotel Marseille Euromed
"The hotel old but near city and port"
Zenitude Hôtel Résidences Marseille Saint-Charles
"In general it is with good value of money, the front desk people are friendly. But it’s a little bit noisy for the rooms next to the road. And they forget to put toilet paper in my room."
B&B Hotel Marseille Parc Chanot
"The location is excellent, very close to the subway station, and very easy to find. The front desk staff were welcoming and offered luggage storage. I would definitely stay here again."
