4-Star Hotels in Marseille

I think the location is a plus, and the hotel staff provided good service. The breakfast was also good with a nice view, and the staff even helped prepare coffee. The bathroom was spacious, but many things were broken. The drain in my room had issues, sometimes leaking water all over the floor. The metal toilet paper holder next to the toilet suddenly fell off, which startled me. The shower screen had a faulty seal at the bottom, preventing it from closing properly. The bathroom lights also flickered constantly, suggesting unstable voltage. My colleague, who was traveling with me, had a broken AC in their room the first night and had to switch. The second night, the replacement room lost power in the middle of the night, forcing them to grope in the dark to switch rooms again. Compared to their experience, my issues seem minor.

The room faces the old port, offering a nice view. From the balcony, you can watch thousands of ships docked in the old port. The Carrefour supermarket across the street has an underground parking garage, which is very convenient, just a 2-3 minute walk away. The location is excellent, with a subway station and many restaurants nearby, making transportation and dining very easy. Hotel facilities and service are average. At night, the nearby bars can be quite loud, and there's occasional motorcycle noise on the street, making it a bit noisy overall.

To be honest, we were quite disappointed with how old the room is. The vibe is very dull and even the air-conditioner looks like it was from the 90s. But the good thing is they have their private parking (need to pay another €15 per day) so that we can park our car inside and feel safer. However, I dont think we will be back the next time. The pictures we seen online are totally different lol.

The pros: Top-floor apartment with a small terrace. Brand new and very functional: fully equipped kitchen, tasteful decor, attic bedroom, very comfortable bed, and complete darkness. Ideally located between the Old Port and the Canebière/Noailles district. Very well soundproofed. Attentive housekeeper for mid-stay cleaning and check-out. Minor remarks: No real separation from the neighbors' terrace. You can see each other if you're using it at the same time. Reversible air conditioning: we couldn't get it to raise the temperature even slightly in November.

The hotel is very comfortable and the bathroom is very large and the rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom is very large. The hotel is very beautiful and quite atypical with its different buildings and the great garden in the middle. The clean parking is a real more! And to finish the breakfast was perfect! I hope I can come back quickly!

Service : correct Installations : satisfaisantes Chambre : propre et de dimension correcte, idéale pour un court séjour (max 3 jours), mais manque de rangements. Nourriture : rien d’exceptionnel — petit-déjeuner classique composé majoritairement de produits industriels, avec des jus de fruits à base de concentré. Remarque : la salle du petit-déjeuner était complète, la météo étant trop froide pour profiter de la terrasse extérieure.

I stayed in this hotel for two days and it was great. It's also very close to the seaside. It's about a ten-minute walk past the cathedral. It's also a fifteen-minute walk from the Old Port of Marseille. The room is large, has a small kitchen, and is very well-equipped. Complete, including slippers and two bottles of water. There is a supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping. The only fly in the ointment was that on the day of arrival, it was around 1 p.m., and the front desk informed me that it had not been cleaned yet, so I sat in the hotel lobby for more than two hours. In fact, if there is a room that has been cleaned, you can adjust it first to avoid wasting time. Although there is a reminder to check in at 16:00 pm, the flexible policy may give guests a better check-in experience. Overall, it's very good. I will still choose to stay here in the future.
