Ocean Bliss by Sugar Coliving
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. One of the best things about it is its location just a 1 minute walk to a beautiful, easily accessible beach with stunning ocean views. The hotel is also conveniently located close to many attractive places and popular surfing spots, making it an excellent choice for both relaxation and adventure. 🏄♂️😍 The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, this hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and beachfront charm. Highly recommended, and we would love to visit again!"
AWON HOTEL MIRISSA
"Our stay at Awon Hotel was really good! The rooms were decent and comfortable, and the hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. The best part is the location, it is very close to the beach and most of the main attractions in Mirissa. Most importantly, the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything, especially when it came to arranging transport and other activities. I highly recommend choosing Awon Hotel if you are visiting Mirissa"

Hey Lala Talalla
We Are Surfers hotel
"This is a paradise for surfers and those seeking solitude! I stayed in this atmospheric hotel right by the ocean – and it's the best spot for beginners in Sri Lanka! Cozy rooms with endless ocean views, a private beach to chill on after surfing, and the staff are simply legends – always positive and ready to help with anything from a surfboard to a minor issue. The attention to detail is pro-level: from the delightful lemongrass shower gel to the designer hangers that perfectly dry your wet clothes. And the coffee? The best on the whole island! I'll be back 100%, 🏄♂️☕ 5/5. If you want to learn to surf, definitely sign up for their surf school – it's amazing! I'd also like to give a special shout-out to the school itself and a huge thank you to Kolya and Asanka. They get you up on the board in no time; it's not just "paddle, stand up," they explain everything so clearly that you have no questions left. These guys know their stuff 1000% – technique, wind, tides, all by the book, but with fun and humor. After just 3 lessons, I was already catching my own waves confidently! Perfect for beginners and those looking to upgrade. I recommend it to everyone."

Asaya Sands Mirissa
"perfect stay at?asaya food also delosious specail thanks to Thakshil and chamishka😍"
Riverside Cabanas
"Proper boutique joint with stacks of character! The Good Oil: Heaps of colour – peacocks strutting about, monkeys chillin' in the distance. Aircon's a ripper – saved our bacon in the heat. Brekkie (fresh fruit + omelette) was bonza. Absolute legend Danush sorted us a whale-watching tour – bloody tops! The Downsides: Wi-Fi's cactus outside the lobby, prices sting a bit (not exactly cheap as chips). Pool's a bit pokey but sparklin' clean. River view? Yeah... nah. More like a prison vibe through the pool fence mesh. All things considered? Solid 4/5 for the spot. Does the job with flair!"
Mirissa Beach Villa
"Wow wow wow! What can I say! From the moment we arrived, we were told to treat the place as home and relax, and we certainly did. The food by Fadhil was freshly made to order and was beautiful and the Sri Lankan curry was excellent. Kasun and his staff treated us like royalty…. Absolutely loved our stay. Well done."
Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa
"Coming to Marriott truly gives you that vacation feeling. Everything from the hotel's amenities and service to the surrounding environment makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. First, the service: since there were no triple rooms or family rooms available when booking, we only reserved a twin room. However, the hotel proactively converted the sofa into a sofa bed for us, solving our child's sleeping arrangement. Second, the hotel's ground floor offers many free entertainment facilities like foosball, table tennis, and billiards. The pool isn't huge, but there are frequent live performances, enhancing the relaxed atmosphere. Moreover, the hotel boasts a superb location right in the heart of Mirissa Bay. From our room's balcony, we had an endless view of the Indian Ocean and rolling waves, which was incredibly beautiful. It's worth mentioning that surfing is a must-try at Marriott; I heard the waves here are perfect for beginners. Looking around, the entire coastline is dotted with surfers, but because the coast is so vast, it never feels crowded, which is incomparable to surfing spots in China (like Houhai). The beach is also very fine, with no broken shells or corals, which is also great for surfing (friends who have surfed in Houhai will understand). However, a word of caution to Chinese tourists: if you're heading to the beach from the hotel and encounter coaches renting surfboards, you *must* haggle aggressively down from their initial quote, then negotiate slowly. The actual cost can vary significantly depending on peak or off-peak season, so I won't go into specifics here. All in all, you won't regret choosing Marriott when in Mirissa, and surfing is definitely an experience not to be missed."
Cape Weligama - Relais and Chateaux
"An incredible stay couldn’t fault them in any way. Highly recommend."
W15 Weligama
"We had a wonderful time at W15 in Weligama. The hotel is right by the beach, so we could hear the waves and enjoy the ocean view every day. It’s a stylish and clean place, with a calm and peaceful feeling that made me feel relaxed as soon as we arrived. The staff were super kind and helpful. They always made sure we were comfortable. Our room was cozy and nicely decorated, with everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was the pool. The views were stunning. The hotel is definitely a great spot for surfing, chilling, or just watching the sunset. W15 is a wonderful choice for your trip to Weligama."
Villa Vista by the Serendipity Collection
"Amazing architecture, beautiful place to relax the day away by the pool… fantastic local breakfast and lovely staff!"
Handagedara Resort & Spa
"It was a clean and comfortable environment. The beach is also close, and there is also a fishing port if you walk a little. We have everything we need."
Mandara Resort Mirissa
"We were put in a smelly mold filled room 226 - this is supposed to be the “superior sea room”. We were told all the rooms were fully booked so couldn’t switch rooms that night. Wonder what diseases live in that room. The question is WHY do they assign room 226 to guests in the first place. When I informed the staff about the moldy room they didn’t seem surprised about it and didn’t apologize in any way. So they were clearly aware of that moldy room and assigned it to us anyway. Imagine being forced to sleep in a moldy room, totally unacceptable"
Hotel Ferola
Dinsara Pearl Villa
"Quiet, relaxing and welcoming place. Noel and his family are lovely - during my stay I felt very comfortable. Many thanks- Will definitely come back!"
Sky Garden Mini Hotel
"Location location location! This spot is perfect to soak up everything Mirissa beach has to offer. It’s right by the main beach in the town with options for Snorkling, whale watching, dining, drinking, parrot island & coconut tree hill just minutes away. The room was lovely, spacious & clean. We had a very small problem of monkeys coming onto our balcony during the night & rearranged our chairs & drying clothes for us but the friendly staff took care of everything in the morning. The perfect hotel to enjoy Mirissa."
Coral Beach Hotel
"Corel Beach Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Mirissa. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered breathtaking ocean views. Waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was an unforgettable experience. A special thank you to Sahan and Rosi, who went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed during my stay. Their kindness and support made a real difference. I highly recommend Corel Beach Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Mirissa."
