Randiya Sea View Hotel ★★★★
"Very nice, just one road away from the beach."
Hey Lala Talalla ★★★
"This is a very cozy spot that makes you feel like you're living in solitude with nature, right among the rocks. Yes, there's a road nearby, but it absolutely doesn't disturb your rest and relaxation. Everything is clean and tidy, and there's a kitchen, which is very convenient for longer stays. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. If you're looking for a peaceful place with a nice atmosphere and close proximity to nature – I wholeheartedly recommend it!"
Ocean Bliss by Sugar Coliving ★★★★
"It was a fabulous stay."
Triple O Six ★★★★
"The hotel staff were all amazing! Shy, who checked us in, was professional and shout-out to the housekeeping staff who did a suprise set up, decorating our bed and gifted us a cake for our 25-year wedding anniversary. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful."
Outpost Weligama Beachfront ★★★
"The Outpost is nicely located on the beach, the staff is nice, the beachside rooms are nice but not cheap. The standard rooms are more like hostel rooms. Unfortunately, the building is very noisy and the air conditioning was either on full blast or not working at all, which made the night miserable. We then changed hotels and are still waiting for our money today, despite the offer of a refund. It's obviously all about the money and not about giving the guest a good experience. If someone likes to sleep with earplugs, then I can recommend the Outpost with reservations."
AWON HOTEL MIRISSA ★★★★
"I booked on the morning of my stay, and they welcomed me warmly, offering lots of advice and assistance. It was also close to other tourist attractions, and the hotel itself was great."
Handagedara Resort & Spa ★★★
"It was a clean and comfortable environment. The beach is also close, and there is also a fishing port if you walk a little. We have everything we need."
Dickwella Resort and Spa ★★★★★
"Not that friendly staff"
SurfBayVilla ★★★
"Great location in the middle of the two beaches"

Mirissa Beach Villa
"This lodge is wonderful, it's something special. I stayed there with my family at Easter and it was one of the best experiences in Sri Lanka. The service is excellent, the manager is very polite and always attentive to any need, highly recommended!!!"
Asaya Sands Mirissa
"This was my first time staying at their hotel, and I was very satisfied with their service. It's really just a 2-3 step walk from the beach, no joke. They also provide a great breakfast."
Central Beach Inn
"The hotel is right on the beach and was very clean. We stayed for two days, and the front desk told us there was no routine cleaning, but it wasn't important. There's a hotel dining area on the beach, and the hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is open to the public; there weren't too many tourists. It's very convenient to get to the pier for whale watching; it's about a 10-minute walk. We hired a car for an island tour, so the driver took us there in the morning, and it only took about 2 minutes. It rained heavily every afternoon during our stay, and enjoying afternoon tea in the restaurant while watching the rain on the beach and sipping drinks was very pleasant. The beach restaurant has seafood, offering a fairly international selection of food, as well as local dishes, all of which were delicious. There were many Europeans and Americans there."
Smeralda Beach Hotel Dikwella
"We ate twice at the restaurant here. Both times they set up a table on the beach. The food and service were very good. As it was the birthday of one of our party they decorated our table and got a special birthday cake for us which was delicious. Prices are slightly higher than average Sri Lankan restaurants but not excessively and the service makes up for this!"
Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa
"A very cosy and relaxing place. Nice wave. Warm seawater. Great location to learn surfing and some cosy moments with family"
Cascara Resort Weligama
"As the first person to write a review, I'll say right away: I absolutely recommend staying here! This hotel is wonderful in every way, from the service to the secluded atmosphere. The breakfasts are excellent – even with just one main menu, there's still a good selection. I was surprised by how well-stocked the room was: I'm not talking about the mini-bar and drinking water, but the bathroom, which has absolutely everything you need, including perfumed toiletries. The conditioner, shampoo, body lotion, and scrub are all fantastic quality. The room is incredibly spacious, and the shower is wonderful. It matches the photos and description 100%. I want to thank the staff for their hospitality, the manager and owner for their smiles and morning chats, and the chef for the excellent cuisine and for helping with a special personal request. It's very close to the coastline, with restaurants, beach clubs, and shops nearby. It was my first time in Sri Lanka, and I have to say, in some ways, I liked this hotel even more than the island itself. Rating: 10/10. I will definitely be back!"
Cape Weligama - Relais and Chateaux
"The room felt fantastic overall."
W15 Weligama
"We had a wonderful time at W15 in Weligama. The hotel is right by the beach, so we could hear the waves and enjoy the ocean view every day. It’s a stylish and clean place, with a calm and peaceful feeling that made me feel relaxed as soon as we arrived. The staff were super kind and helpful. They always made sure we were comfortable. Our room was cozy and nicely decorated, with everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was the pool. The views were stunning. The hotel is definitely a great spot for surfing, chilling, or just watching the sunset. W15 is a wonderful choice for your trip to Weligama."
DCanal House
"The room was clean and had its own unique features."
Ivory Resort Dikwella
"One of the nicest 4-Star hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Food, staff, room and all the rest is superb. ❤️🙏🙏🙏 Total opposite from Kingfisher in Unawatuna."
Beach & Bliss Mirissa
"One of the worst three star hotels I stayed. The price is high for this hotel service is average and pathetic. The room alloted does not have Almira and have hangers, the door is not thick moreover the shower area had shower gel hook broken at room number 405. The issue was reported to front desk but no action taken. Ms Shrimoni at reception was a great help to us, the person in evening was way too rude when we asked for water considering we were staying as family. The breakfast there is average nothing speacil, food quality is average. Don't think this place has any charm"
