The service staff are excellent, very nice and helpful. Special thanks the the night manage Mr. Yap. He even offered to drive me to the restaurant when the Didi app could not get me a car. All the staff are caring and detail. ( and also thanks to the two ladies in the morning shift - only got their Chinese name ! And I can’t write Chinese! . They reported I was missing to the police when they found I have not returned from a field trip after dark ,just kidding, they almost did that ! . Swinging by Meizhou from Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the service staff at Atour is world apart ! is this Meizhou city or the Hakka hospitality! Anyway, Atour gave a very personal touch and a different experience from other places I have been to. Keep up the good work, guys. Oh, not the mention I find the ambiance is of the ‘new age’ type ! Really love it. So much that I am now at an Atour hotel at Xiamen.

We are a big group of family with 10 persons and stay in Meizhou 3 nights. All of us are very satisfied with our stay in this hotel. I'm not able to speak Chinese well, but the receptionist, the cleaner, the chef are taking care us whole heartedly. Hotel provided us free laundry service and late night congee/meals for FREE!! Will come back here again in the future!!

The hotel has a good appearance, comfortable room facilities, and good front desk and room service. I booked a city view room, but the front desk changed it to a semi-river view room, where you can see the river view from the side. I left a small item when I checked out. After contacting the front desk, the front desk found the item and helped to mail it. Recommended hotel👍

It is a very beautiful and warm B&B. Every corner is a well-conceived picture, with well-proportioned and winding paths. The room is a perfect blend of simplicity and modernity, making it comfortable and quiet. I didn’t take too many photos because I was in such a hurry, and I went back to the B&B drunk after dinner that day and caused trouble to the B&B... but the store just cleaned it up silently... Thanks again! I will definitely stay a few more days next time!

This 4-star hotel is completely out of date. Except for the large room, other aspects seem to be unsatisfactory: the equipment is really too old, the slippers are also cheap, the TV is super small and can't be turned on, the breakfast room and the corridor have a strong odor, and the worst thing is that you have to pay extra for adding a bottle of water. This is the second hotel I have encountered in this 28-day trip. The first one is Xiamen Henglong Garden Hotel. In addition, the health package in the elevator is simply speechless.

It's strange why a hotel with good ratings in all aspects is only rated 4.5. I almost missed it. . Compared with other hotels with the same rating, it is not at the same level. . Meizhou Academy, Jiangbei Old Street, Huang Zunxu's former residence, Hakka Museum, Dongjiang Academy, Catholic Church, and even the Thousand Buddha Pagoda are all within walking distance. . Really great traditional style hotel, everything in great condition, clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the usual Chinese buffet but it actually felt like some care had gone into it, including the chef cooking your noodles live. The only downside was the temperamental wifi. Other than that, thoroughly recommended.

BIG APPLAUSE & THANK YOU to chief concierge Sam Qiu for his hospitality & prompt response. Sam checked us in & greeted my elderly parents with big smile. Sam is very resourceful! He learnt that we are foreigners of Hakka descendent & visited Meizhou for local cuisines, immediately recommended few restaurants & interesting places for us to explore. He helped us booked Di Di online, ordered food delivery to hotel before we departed to next city & even prepared disposable utensils for our meals in the high speed train, really appreciate his detailed observation & consideration! Sam extended his service beyond my expectation! LOVE the location, quiet & spacious room. People's Square is right across the street. Fresh air & greenery in the morning. When dark falls, the whole park turns into fun fair ground for kids, dancing field & karaoke place for the adults. Will return staying in this hotel without hesitation.
