The hotel, located on a small hill between two 18-hole golf courses in the Mijas Golf urbanization, is known for its peace, tranquility and privacy for guests. This hotel, which opened in 1984 and became the hotel of choice for the elite at the end of the 20th century, has reopened its doors completely refurbished.It has 197 rooms, all of them with terrace and views of the golf course or the mountains, under the brand Unbound by Hyatt this hotel will offer 3 restaurants, heliport, 2 tennis courts and 2 paddle courts, gym, wellness center with spa and meeting center with different rooms according to needs. It also has a children's area, three swimming pools and access to the golf courses.The essence of this legendary hotel has been maintained, but updating its facilities and needs for today's customers, with a very careful, warm decoration, natural materials and with the highest investment in technology for a 5-star service.

Lovely building with fantastic gardens and pool area , rooms are functional although slightly dated but well maintained and, clean, AC , TV,Fridge , cleaned regular and quiet with nice views , fantastic value for money ,located well for Mijas and Fuengirola, bus stops just outside the hotel . Having read some of the other reviews we was a little concerned but pleasantly surprised by such a lovely place it is , so be mindful of some of reviews , me and my wife paid £300 for 5 nights room only , incredible value !, cant wait to return , Mijas Pueblo is a beautiful town

The English at the front desk is not particularly good. The buffet dinner is more cost-effective than the surrounding Italian restaurants. The daughter is 15 years old and counts as a child. In the hotel you can see the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel pool is very iced. It is recommended to put some towels next to the hotel. The night view around the hotel is beautiful, and there is a very meaningful museum.

It's a pretty big resort that I couldn't find the reception at first. Check in at the main reception and drive back to the room. You can also see the sunrise from the villa in the dormitory surrounding the swimming pool.

Pablo is now the General Manager of this hotel, and rightly so. From the second you walk in, you can feel the difference he has made. While the hotel has always been good, from the second you walk in now, the staff greet you like an old friend. They immediately stop what they are doing and take time and care to speak with you and look after you. The entrance is spotless and has a fabulous atmosphere of sophistication and calm. Pablo himself continues to be delightful; when he talks with you, you are the only person that matters. If you are waiting to see him, he greets you but always ensures those he is with have everything they need. He knows all the staff by name and has excellent relationships with the clients, meaning everyone feels valued and welcomed. A friend and I went to some of the classes; Carlos and Carol´s stretching classes are a must. The spa continues to be my haven. This summer we had facials - absolute bliss and worth every cent. Entrance to the gym is always well organised. While the Golf Shop staff are always they busy, they smile and greet you, and it is always great to see familiar faces over the years. Thank you Pablo and the team - this hotel under his leadership is a must if you are visiting the Costa, or looking to become a member of the gym & spa.

I had the most amazing first time stay with my 3-year-old son. I’ve travelled and stayed in hotels all over the world and I can’t speak highly enough of the los amigos beach club. Everything about it it’s just right. Especially if you are with children. My room is extremely clean very modern and well presented and looked after. Everything was working fine and even though I didn’t request to get my room cleaned I always left me fresh towels or water outside my room. The facilities are amazing and very clean and all the staff that work within the resort are extremely happy and helpful and have a great attitude which means a lot. Also is situated in a great place tucked away from all the noise and hustle and bustle but just near enough everything so it is very easy to get about and visit places... The restaurant is absolutely amazing as well and serves a beautiful breakfast as well as great lunch and dinner. Again extremely clean and well-kept and the staff are amazing and friendly and extremely helpful.. It’s one of those resorts where you just can’t wait to come back and stay another time and I know this will be somewhere that I bring my son back to every year without a doubt... it’s had so much of a massive positive impact on me! Beautiful hotel, great food, beautiful rooms and wonderful hospitality. I really would recommend this fabulous hotel. On arrival you are instantly given welcome drinks and time to relax. Breakfast is a choice of 4 menus for the morning. The room we had was beautiful and the customer service was fabulous from start to finish.
