Hotels in Stazione Garibaldi, Milan

The Metro station (of the new line) is a bit further away from the hotel (around 15-20 minutes walking) though, there is a tram next to the hotel that will take you to Duomo in 10 minutes, even late at night when the metro is already closed. I personally very much like the area because if you take the nice 15 minutes walk (very nice area BTW, lots of supermarkets!) you will reach the center in 3-4 metro stops without having to change lines. The hotel is just as nice as a 3-stars hotel can be. I had an economy double room which was tiny but clean and neat. Lots of towels, shower gels.

It will be better to provide free mineral water. Air conditioner / heating doesn’t seem like working properly, tried to adjust the temperature down abit but it still gone back up, the room was too hot. Apart from these, everything was fine. Easy to access to public transport and the room was clean.

From Milan Central Railway Station, take three or four bus stops in 5 minutes on foot, which is more convenient than expected. You can take a tram to major attractions. Girls stayed alone, very safe, the single room was large, it was a double bed, stayed in Italy for 9 nights and finally lived in Milan. The biggest and cheapest room, no breakfast but pots and pans were all available. Unfortunately, I didn't cook. There are two access control inside and outside, very safe, check out free luggage storage, very satisfied!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tocq. The hotel is very clean and well kept, and the location is perfect for exploring Milan. The staff were also friendly, so I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Lovely hotel with great location, perfect for solo travelers. In walking distance from Chinatown. Bus/tram station right in front of the hotel and subway station in 3-5 minutes on foot. Delicious breakfast, bakery especially amazing. Be prepared: the hotel does not provide bathrobe and room slippers.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it was not so good that we expected. First of all we were provided with the number on the 2d floor right next to the kitchen room. The staff started the preparation for the breakfast at about 6 am and we heard all the corespondent noise, and moreover at 7am ppl joined and the noise started getting louder :). But everything would be ok if the night club was not located right on the first floor, all nights from 9pm until 4am we listened the club deep house etc :) and you have only 2 hours to sleep before the breakfast party :) So, to summarize, in case you plan to stay at this hotel be sure you’re not on the second floor ;) P.S. there’re no fridge and drinking water in the rooms, in case it’s important for you ;)

Location is great and just right in front of metro. Very convenient to go Duomo. However there is only stairs at metro station leading up to entrance of hotel so lugging the luggage up can be challenging if coming via metro.
