Hotel on the mountain, nice view, starry night, tidy and lovely staffs. Meet Mr. Molly and his family (sheep) which are soooo cute. We have a great time here ❤️❤️❤️

Best stay in our trip. The room was cosy and complete with microwave and fridge. Central heating so room was comfortable. We arrived on a rainy evening and not eager to venture out for dinner. The host had stock of frozen dinner packs that we could buy to reheat. He even cooked rice for us. Great dining area. We even made latte using their coffee machine. Lovely time spent chatting with the host like meeting an old friend. The morning feeding of sheep and alpacas made this stay extra personal. Highly recommended.

Nice little room. We enjoy the view. Host even wrote us a personal check in note and I like the play book to get us started

If you use Google Maps, remember to select the pedestrian path for directions. Otherwise, it may guide you to an abandoned house. The view from the dining room was nice, but we found some short blond hairs on the bed. We weren't too concerned about it, but others might be. The breakfast is quite Western—bread and jam, with milk or yogurt. It's a nice place, suitable for a short nap before takeoff. Nearby Saddle Hill is a great spot for viewing the Southern Lights if the timing is right. You could also ask John for local tips—he might know the best viewing spots. Thanks again to John for his hospitality!

A quiet pleasant stay. Nice apartment with outdoor patio.

The room was huge and every care has been taken to ensure you are comfortable. The sofa bed is slatted which means it is like a normal bed. The king bediss amazing, so comfortable. Apart from being on the outskirts of Dunedin (not very far) I could not fault this motel. There is a guest kitchen where you can prepare your own food and then you can join the other guests. The owner was very helpful and could not do enough for us. Would stay again.

Very quite and relaxing farm

John was very pleasant to welcome us, my girl likes this place very much. A lot of spaces, meet very nice people around the world, also animal feedings in the farm.

A wonderful place to stay Friendly owner, Personal welcome, expecting us and used first names. Small room, but with everything we needed and access to a guest kitchen and lounge. Great outlook on really pretty property. If you have time there's farm animals to feed.
