"2023 I visited this hotel with my mom and a few of my siblings. The location is amazing, the hotel rooms are also very clean and spacious with great stuff and it’s a very quiet space because of this past experience I decided to book my mum for two days in winter 2025. My mum has been sick so the doctor advised her to rest and get some sauna and since the hotel claims to have if we thought it be convenient for her to stay. It’s currently winter in South Africa and yet the were no gowns in the room this really upset me because I am not even in South Africa now I have to call for that request while I’m busy. I am truly disappointed at these two points."

"Never book with Agoda travel Agents NEVER. We booked at this guesthouse while traveling thru Agoda, the guesthouse replied immediatly that they are fully booked, Agoda ignored the email, and still debit the amount from bank card, we arrived just to find out they fully booked, we were stranded and had to drive in the middle of the night to our next destination. Since the 28 of March 2026 we try to get a refund from Agoda with no luck. I went on facebook and there are litteraly 100 and 100 of people that lost money to Agoda due to this bad service. So please dont make the same mistake and loose money to Agoda scammers. Booking never took place because fulle booked, but i paid for it. Invoice attached"

"The staff were very friendly and tried to help where necessary. They offered me a place to work from the office of the manager when i complained that i had no work desk in my room. I liked the location and the fact that i had my own remote. i also like the couches outside and plenty parking. I feel in this day and age of remote working there should be a study desk in every room. I was so disappointed that there was no desk in my room. Though i was offered to work from the managers office, it was so inconvenient, and also could not study or work at night as there was only a couch. The drainage for my shower in number 6 was also not good."

The room was terrible, shower leaking, tv not working, Report to the receptionist was not attended to, Ordered supper in room 3 hours before time and was still 45 minutes late. The people are very friendly and welcoming, which just adds to the beauty of the environment. There are nice little shops as well, my favourite being the osem shop. Wide variety of nuts, seeds, flours, organic veggies and much more. Definitely worth seeing and experiencing."

"I spent a night at this hotel with some family. I have mixed feelings about it. The rooms were clean and good, with a nice bathroom. The interior of the hotel is pretty. The rooftop bar and dining room are good settings. However, my dissatisfaction arose during the meals. The drinks took a while to arrive once we ordered even though the place wasn’t busy. This was confusing since the drinks we ordered wouldn’t take a long time to prepare (e.g. a can of soft drink or a beer). During the meals, we found that we couldn’t order certain things on the menu because the kitchen didn’t have enough stock of it left. We only found this out after ordering and had to take another look at the menu."

"It took a while to find this place.. and I was expecting to find a normal house with rooms, but we drove up a long drive and found a huge place. The entrance was big - like walking into someone's living room. It was lovely and the kind lady behind reception gave us a warm welcome after a long long drive. We were shown to our room , which like reception, was huge!! A studio with a large and super comfortable bed, a kitchenette area complete with a small fridge, and a tea/coffee station. There was a small seating area with a sofa and a few comfy chairs and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower with good pressure.. Breakfast the following morning served in the dining room all nicely laid out and so we were ready for our onward journey We enjoyed our stay albeit for one night with much needed sleep and slept like logs.."

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Sindiswa, she is truly a gem and made the stay even more special with her warm and attentive service. The owner, Rhyno, was extremely helpful and went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect. The guest house is situated in a beautiful, tree-lined and peaceful area, which creates such a relaxed and calm atmosphere. You immediately feel at ease. I would gladly stay there again anytime and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bloemfontein, whether for business or simply to explore the city. The breakfast was outstanding generous, delicious, and more than enough food! Well done to Rhyno and his team"
