"Stopped for one night on a long road trip and chose this hotel for its location and comfort, but value for money fell short. Staff were pleasant and moved us to a second room after we reported the weak aircon, however the aircon was inadequate in both rooms and we ended up with a poor night’s sleep. The hotel itself feels dated and lacking upkeep, common areas aren't inviting and it seems overdue for a refresh. For a 4-star property at these rates, the overall quality didn’t match expectations. Renovations seem to be underway, so hopefully this improves for future guests."

"Never book with Agoda travel Agents NEVER. We booked at this guesthouse while traveling thru Agoda, the guesthouse replied immediatly that they are fully booked, Agoda ignored the email, and still debit the amount from bank card, we arrived just to find out they fully booked, we were stranded and had to drive in the middle of the night to our next destination. Since the 28 of March 2026 we try to get a refund from Agoda with no luck. I went on facebook and there are litteraly 100 and 100 of people that lost money to Agoda due to this bad service. So please dont make the same mistake and loose money to Agoda scammers. Booking never took place because fulle booked, but i paid for it. Invoice attached"

"The place is beautiful, but my stay was short. I was upstairs and navigating my luggage up the stairwell was a huge challenge. I also had a bathroom separate from my room which was not ideal since I wear hijaab and had to cover up every time I left my room to use the bathroom. Perhaps another room would have been better suited to my needs. It was very cold and I could not get the air conditioner to work properly to warm the room"

"This hotel, compared to the other Southern Sun hotels we have stayed at recently , is definitely not at the same high expected level. Rooms are quite outdated and are not kept extremely clean. Staff are available and visible, but they are not very friendly or keen to assist guests. The pool and garden area is beautiful and peaceful, but you wait a long time to get a waiter to assist with drinks and snacks. The hotel has direct access to the Mimosa Mall, which is a great benefit and super convenient."
