the owner was so friendly and helpful. they brought us to the entrqnce personally. i only found out that there were two main entrances when i arrived. The North and West entrance. I ended up staying at the West entrance. Not much activities at night. The North was a lot more shops and restaurants around the area. One thing I like was the quietness and the hospitality shown by the owner. They provide a lot of water and a fruit platter too. We walked to the entrance the next morning. Only took about 15 min. Problem is the shuttle busses were not so frequent in the morning session from the West gate. One point to consider. Other than that, this place is superb for less noise. Thank you.

This hotel is super close to the Colorful Danxia West Gate, only 600 meters away, and it's just a 3-minute drive to the scenic area. It saved us the hassle of rushing early in the morning! The room was spotless, and the smart devices were really convenient to use. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, even recommending the best time for us to view the scenery. Our stay was definitely a five-star experience. This is absolutely the top choice if you're visiting Zhangye to see Danxia!

This is a smart hotel with advanced facilities. It's very clean, and the bedding is super comfortable – seriously, four pillows, it's fantastic! Plus, they offer unlimited bottled water. Of course, the owner's service is also exceptional. They're a very passionate and chatty person. My whole family had a wonderful time! Among the hotels in this area, 'Cong Cong Na Nian Hotel' (匆匆那年酒店) definitely stands out as a top choice. We actually looked around quite a bit before booking this one on arrival. Wishing the owner great success, and we hope to visit again!

First, the advantages: free parking is available in front of and behind the hotel. Second, the disadvantages: First, the location is poor, quite remote, only suitable for those with a car. There are no shopping areas nearby. Second, the service is average. The room provides two bottles of mineral water, which wasn't enough for us. We tried to call to ask if we could get two more, but the buttons for the front desk and room service were malfunctioning. So, we sent our 11-year-old to the front desk (who could express themselves clearly). Our child came back and told us that the front desk said they would bring two more bottles when they cleaned the next day. This meant they couldn't provide more, so we had to order bottled water delivered. When checking out, we asked the front desk if the hotel only provided two bottles of water. The front desk said we could ask for more. This incident made our stay less pleasant. Finally, I'd like to say that the scenery in Zhangye is very beautiful.

We were on a road trip with our kids and stayed here when visiting Zhangye Danxia. It was really convenient. We had a triple room, which was quite spacious and clean. The air conditioning was cool, and the hot water for showers was great. Breakfast was light, with vegetables, eggs, millet porridge, and steamed buns – it was nutritious enough and suited to our stomachs in this northwestern region. The staff were warm and friendly; they felt genuine and provided good value for money. In the evening, we went to the nearby Wenwen supermarket to buy water and watermelon, and also had dinner at a Chinese restaurant next door that specialized in grilled fish. We ordered corn porridge and Da Pan Ji (big plate chicken), and it was delicious.

After comparing several accommodations for my trip to Zhangye Danxia, I chose Kaoshan Daying (Back Mountain Camp). The Starry Sky Yurt was what truly captivated me, and my entire stay exceeded expectations – highly recommended! Location-wise, the camp is right next to the West Gate of the Danxia scenic area, making travel incredibly convenient. No need for roundabout detours; I could step out early in the morning to catch the Danxia sunrise. This fantastic location also saved me a lot of effort when it came to stargazing at night. Now, let's talk about the Starry Sky Yurt. Before I arrived, I was a bit worried about roughing it in a tent out in the wilderness, but my stay completely changed my mind. The yurt was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated with no strange odors. The bed was soft and comfortable, and despite the large temperature swings in the Gobi Desert between day and night, the interior was well-insulated and never felt cold or damp. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with 24-hour hot water and a full range of toiletries. It truly offered a luxurious wilderness experience that blended comfort with ambiance, without compromising on daily conveniences. However, the panoramic skylight at the top of the yurt was the real highlight and the biggest surprise of my trip. The camp is far from the city, meaning almost no light pollution. As night fell, the entire sky was unblocked and spread out above me. I didn't even have to step outside into the wind; I could lie in bed and gaze up at the countless stars. The Milky Way stretched clearly across the mountains, with stars so bright and dense – a magnificent night sky rarely seen in the city. Lying there quietly, watching the celestial river flow and listening to the distant Gobi breeze, all my travel fatigue slowly melted away. It was incredibly romantic and healing. The camp's amenities were also very thoughtful. In the evening, you can enjoy a starlit BBQ and hotpot. After dinner, there's a bonfire party. Then, after a stroll, you return to your yurt to continue enjoying the tranquil starry sky. The self-driving parking area is spacious, and RV resupply facilities are comprehensive. The staff were warm and meticulous in their service; they thoughtfully informed me of the best stargazing times and were always on hand to help with any issues. The unique Danxia mountain light show at night, coupled with the vast starry sky, created a multi-layered and stunning view. The special clear-broth suoyang hotpot was authentic and generously portioned, perfect for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, the Starry Sky Yurt is an exceptionally suitable choice. You can admire the Danxia landforms up close and immerse yourself in lying under the Milky Way – it perfectly combines natural beauty with comfortable accommodation. This is an unmissable gem when visiting Danxia, and I will definitely choose the Starry Sky Yurt again on my next trip to Zhangye.

We were tourists from Jiuquan, on a self-driving trip. The owner was incredibly kind, and the hotel's location inside Mati Temple was excellent, with convenient parking. The young lady at the restaurant was also very nice; the dishes she recommended were delicious, served in large portions, and offered great value for money. It's especially suitable for older people and children! At night, you can even go to the mountaintop to stargaze. The owner is generous and such a good person; they patiently helped each of us adjust our phone settings, and the photos turned out amazing. We got to see all the grottoes early in the morning before it got crowded, which was very convenient! We Gansu people are warm and hospitable, so everyone is welcome to visit Gansu. You'll see unique scenery at Mati Temple, and both the front and back of the mountain are fun to explore. What a delightful weekend!

Location & Transportation: We drove here for our trip. The hotel is super easy to find, just a 15-minute drive from the Zhangye West highway exit after getting off the freeway. The parking lot is huge and free, which was incredibly convenient for us traveling with a child and luggage. It's only a 40-minute drive to the scenic spots, so we didn't have to wake up early or rush, and our little one didn't get fussy in the car – it was so relaxing! There's also a large supermarket nearby, so we could easily grab anything our child needed, which was a huge plus. Environment & Details: The hotel is very clean overall, and they even have anti-slip mats in the common areas, so I didn't have to worry about my child slipping. We booked a family room, and it was decorated with a kids' tent and small toys. Our child was thrilled the moment we walked in! Kids' toiletries, small slippers, and even a little stool were all provided – we didn't have to bring anything ourselves, which saved us so much hassle. The room was exceptionally clean; not a speck of dust in the corners, and the bed was big enough for our family of three to sleep comfortably. The hotel also has a good-sized kids' play area with disinfected toys. On rainy days, when we couldn't go out, our child could play there, and we parents could also get some rest. It was incredibly thoughtful! Service Experience: The staff were incredibly friendly. When we checked in, they even offered to help us take our luggage to the room. Knowing we had a child, they also provided a kids' pillow and mosquito repellent. These small details were truly heartwarming. In the restaurant, they had high chairs for babies and were very accommodating when it came to heating up baby food – they were always happy to help and had excellent attitudes. Summary: This hotel really made our family trip so much better. It was comfortable, hassle-free, and reasonably priced. It's truly perfect for families with children. I highly recommend it to all parents planning a trip!

The room is very unique, the children love it very much, saying it is like a princess's castle. The terrace is very large. Sitting on the terrace at night, enjoying the breeze, listening to the water, watching the stars, and feeling the coolness of Sunan, is very comfortable. The largest prayer wheel is right next to the hotel. I highly recommend the Qilian Natural History Museum in Sunan.

They are newly opened, the room is large, clean and clean, the pillows have several mattresses and are very comfortable, and you can rest here very well. The breakfast is also very rich and tastes great. The network signal is good and the windows are large, and you can clearly see the scenery outside. Really worth recommending.
