Loved our first stay so much that we went back. Great heated indoor pool for kids. Gym had modern equipment. Valet parking was $48 but was a good experience if you're willing to pay. For my second stay, the sheets made us itch a bit. The hotel said they were sold out the night before so they may have used some old sheets which were still clean but perhaps a bit dusty.

Lobby and room look amazing. Elevators fast and don’t have to wait too long. The staff are friendly but we asked for laundry bags but waited for so long at least 40 minutes. Breakfast area is good and food was ok. But not that many options to eat. Location is great! So close to downtown. Parking fee I think is 39-40? It was ok but still don’t get it why we need to pay for parking fee when you stay in the hotel( but I guess most of hotels are like that) I wish they had paper slippers in the room.

A very comfortable hotel. It provides a free buffet breakfast. The breakfast is relatively rich in the United States. You can make your own waffles, including egg pancakes 🥞, bacon 🥓, fruits 🍉, oatmeal 🥣, etc. The three of us booked two Bedroom suites, each room has a bathroom, the overall feeling is very spacious and comfortable!
Parking at the hotel is relatively expensive, costing 45 US dollars a day. We parked across the road from the hotel entrance. It is a roadside parking lot and is free at night.

One of the few hotels that we are very satisfied with during our trip to the United States. The hotel is relatively new, the decoration is in line with our tastes, the service is also good, located in downtown Portland, eating around, shopping is very convenient. Crossing the road is the local pioneer square. The hotel parking lot is very expensive. More than 50 a night, we found a parking lot across the road, general price.
If I have the chance to go again, this one is definitely my best choice.

The hotel is very good, about 7 minutes drive from the city center. The air conditioner control panel seems to be broken, and the wind has been blowing. It is recommended not to be close to the highway room, which is noisy at night.

Great
GGuest UserMy husband, 2 sons and I stayed at the Inn at Northrup Station recently while in Portland visiting our daughter. The location worked out very well for us and everyone enjoyed the breakfast. The first night, our bathroom door squeaked when we got up in the middle of the night to use the facilities waking others in the room. I talked to the front desk in the morning and they came in and gave it some oil which worked perfectly to silence it during the night. Very much appreciated! The beds seemed smaller than normal queen sized beds but we had no way of verifying that. Luckily there was a pull out sofa in our room so one of our sons slept on that after the first night. The bed did seem smaller than our queen at home to my husband and me as well.
YYero DaJThere appeared to be a misunderstanding between the hotel and Trip.com as we booked the stay with breakfast stated as included but the hotel reception said they had not provided breakfast for a long time, since Covid19 started. They needed to sort this between themselves. However, the manager was gracious to refund us the cost of breakfast at a nearby cafe.
The location of the hotel was near to a number of bus stops for different directions.
The view from our room window was very poor, just an internal air well.
AAbdullah NurI think this hotel should consider to change their Stars on the online platform. Hyaat name is also confusing, it doesn’t represent Hyaat quality although. Breakfast has very limited food! Windows are not possible to open to get fresh air, due to security they say, but even a little bit opening possibility would give a lot confidence peope like me who desperately need it for the health reason!
GGuest UserGreat, inexpensive hotel in downtown Portland. Great location, but it feels a bit shady at night. Still, it has its own parking so you don’t really need to worry about your car or your walk from your car to your room. It has a mini fridge, cable tv, and air conditioning, all the amenities necessary for a short trip.
GGuest UserI stay here often ! Everyone is so awesome from housekeepers to front desk and now meal service. Views are spectacular! Hillary comes to mind as an efficient helpful young lady. They are all
Awesome ! Take a walk on the wild side After all you are in Oregon. Cheers
JJoAnna McDonnellLet me start with cudos for Elizabeth at the front desk. I'd say she did everything in her control to make my stay excellent. GREAT customer service there. The van driver, however, made me feel unimportant. What????? We have to turn the van back around to return to the hotel to pick up a pilot? Even though you were late in picking me up and nearly making me late for my own connection? GACK!
I'd say the company puts a lot of money into the lobby and the exterior. Sadly, once you step off the elevator, everything is a little shabby, torn and run-down. Perfect to lure in the traveler who won't be coming back.
GGuest UserEvery time I come to Portland, I live in this hotel. The hotel airport has a shuttle bus and the front desk of the hotel is very welcoming.
There is a restaurant in the hotel, I personally think the taste is not bad, and there is a lake outside the restaurant. In the evening, I eat and watch the lake view.
GGuest UserWe like this place and stay here often. Free airport shuttle, good bed, good breakfast, big television. We find that it is much easier before flights to stay here the night before. The air flight schedule board is in the lobby.
AAdam ValentinerI would describe this as a hipster hotel with unique character to match the downtown area. My teenage kids did like the room and the adjacent coffee shop. However, I felt the room was a little small, especially the bathroom and the room could use some updating like more amenities like towel racks and storage for suitcases. Our room was not close to being recently remodeled so pictures can be a little deceiving. Bed was comfortable but I could hear people walking around above our room at night. I also struggled with parking found it very stressful trying to find parking, plan to spend around $40 a day on parking a day if you are driving around a lot. The overnight parking which is approx 10-15 minutes away walking distance is not on site and is only $20 a night, but it does not feel safe after 10pm to be walking around due to the homeless problem in the area. I don't think I will be returning to this hotel. I def don't feel like this was a 3 star hotel, I would give it a 2.5 out of 4 or 5 stars. The breakfast was a continental at best. Pastries with juice or coffee and fruit. Sometimes they provided yogurt or boxed oatmeal and oat milk but nothing special and get there before 9 am or there may run out of items. Portland has a lot of fun things to see but because of the homeless problem I would seek out recommendations for the best attractions and stir clear of the problem areas. Washington park and art museum were a lot of fun to visit. Multnomah Falls would be an all day trip and get there very early since parking is terrible or park off site and take tram in. I was also charged an additional fee of $25 a night which was not mentioned anywhere on the trip.com booking receipt.
SShelley ResnickWe got there super late coming in from delayed flight from JFK one night! We’d been cruising Mediterranean for 15 days and had already flown for 17 hours. I had a late check-in Standard room booked for my Sister and I who badly overpacked and had 5 heavy suitcases of various sizes. I chose Holiday Inn @ PDX as it was close by the Airport AND offered shuttle service! With the help of the Shuttle driver we managed to load everything but our carry-on luggage on the cart. Checked in and were given the key to our room on the 2nd Floor. Laboriously we made our way up to 2, managed to get our suitcases outta the elevator with the fast closing door and made it to our assigned room only to discover that the “key” didn’t work—no amount of re-insertion would convince it to, either; so my Sis went back down to the check-in desk and was given a key to a Suite on the 3rd Floor!
We made our way up to that suite of rooms and were greeted with an exquisitely dark & dreary mostly dark brown but well appointed two room Suite. The rooms were clean, but the Holiday Inn in th location if VERY OLD, and they’ve done y their best to offer amenities to accommodate and make up for the aged old place. The Coffee Maker didn’t work, but everything else seemed to. The King Bed was super comfortable but the carpeting is old and unraveling and the living-room wall heater burned its way through a travel bag that help my brand new never worn Natica Puffy Jacket and the carrying bag! Didn’t know it was even on. Good place to crash for a night or two, but no longer. Bed was super!!
