I recently visited mumbai for work and had the pleasure of staying at mantra hostel. My experience was truly amazing and comfortable. The dormitory and washroom were exceptionally clean. Since the hotel has very steep steps, no lift, they accommodated us in hotel winton. The staff is polite and helpful. Both these hotels have clean rooms, however the rooms are too small, with small bathrooms. Few rooms don’t have attached bathrooms. It’s situated amid-st a timber market. It’s fine for a day’s stay. Not for family. 3

While the location is convenient, the rest of the experience fell far short of expectations. The food was just average, and the amenities were nothing special. However, what really stood out was the poor service and hospitality. The staff was consistently rude and uncooperative. During our two-day stay, we were reminded of the hotel’s rules *eight* times, which felt excessive and unwelcoming. I had a particularly unpleasant experience with a staff member at reception named don, who was extremely rude and spoke to me in a demeaning tone, even raising his voice when i requested a printout. Overall, none of the staff seemed trained in basic hospitality etiquette, making the experience thoroughly disappointing. Would not recommend.

GGuest UserLocation: hotel horizon inn is situated off main roads. Auto rickshaw is easily available there. The property is situated at one end of the start of the slum areas. Facade: it requires complete renovation. It doesn't seem nice to your eyes. Rooms: the room and washroom were clean but they were too small. You would find all the required amenities for your pretty short stay. Food/ breakfast: i wouldn't recommend anyone to go with the inclusion of breakfast as there will always be 2 options - bread butter and poha or bread butter and up-ma with unflavored tea, like without ginger or elaichi, etc. Got a rude reply from one of the staff upon asking why they can't add ginger, he mentioned the market opens up at 10 am so they don't have ginger. The one i had ordered was given to some other guests. Do not opt for breakfast, it will save your money. Since the property and rooms are small there isn't any sort of room service. However, whatever you order you would get it in the room. Overall, in my opinion this property is good only if you have to stay for a night. Not recommended for business leisure travellers. This is only for staggers who have some day work and have to get back the following morning. It was an average stay. You can opt for this if no other property in mumbai is available. Room photo
