I checked into the Charles Hotel in Munich on Christmas Eve, December 24th. The location is very convenient, right next to the city center. There are service staff to help park the car and take the luggage into the room. The front desk staff provided welcome Christmas drinks and provided warm and considerate service throughout. The hotel has a historical feel, and the rooms are relatively modern. You can see the park view from the small balcony. When the sun shines into the room in the early morning, you feel great. I made a reservation in advance for Christmas dinner at Sophia's, the restaurant in the hotel. The food was pretty good, not bad but not bad. There are quite a lot of breakfast options. Great hotel! Quiet amidst the noise, adjacent to the Botanical Garden, sitting in the room can see the old and new Legislative Palace of Munich outside the window.
