Koenigshof, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Munich

Great location in the center of Munich, very convenient option of underground parking. We went there to experience the bar and restaurant at 3rd and 9th floor of three building. Personnel at the reception at ground floor extremely polite and helpful, very friendly attitude by the lady in charge of the bar at third floor. So far, so good. We wanted to see the great view from the bar and restaurant at the 9th floor, as advertised by the receptionist And do maybe to have some small food and drink (it was around 5pm). We found two people at the entrance, a man and a woman. We told the man we would like to take a look. He asked if we were hotel guests. We confirmed we were not and he said that hdd we could seat us only at the bar (the full place, both restaurant and bar was empty). The bar does not hacmvd any panoramic view and so we were hesitant. But the gentleman said moly left us alone in front of of the bar without a word and went to another room. After a few seconds we decided to leave, greeting the lady that did not participate to this sad episode and that was showing an embarrassed smile. A hotel of this level should have personnel able to exhibit a behavior at least at level of basic politeness. Unbelievable.
