Near Nagoya station but need detour if go from meintesu Nagoya ( AirPort Express) station
No security on get up floor of residency
So do not leave valuable at room
As all doors are left open at time of room cleansing.
Overall room size ok

Great location 5 minutes from the Shinkansen exit of Nagoya station.
Breakfast was a simple spread but tasted good and had many Nagoya specialties like the ogura toast and miso katsu. Staff were also very polite and helped to process early check in(small fee of 1000yen per hour) and also forward our luggage to Tokyo.

Gave me the lowest floor upon arrival! Need to negotiate a few times and finally moved up to higher level in the last 3 nights! Spent 5 night watch the big sign post opposite the road!

The hotel room that we stayed is considered comfortable for 2 persons as the bed is big enough for 2 adults. Only downside is the bathroom hot water difficult to control the level of heat even we turned to the cool indicator, still come out very hot water.

Location-wise, there is nothing to fault. However, the rooms n facilities are quite average, good enough for a couple of nights. Service is cold & superficial.....Daiwa Roynet's standards has been getting from bad to worse over the years from the last 6 times I've come to Japan
However, lots of food & shopping around; so this chain has got advantage in terms of location only. Don't expect too much from the hotel itself

Overall, the hotel was very nice with high-class service and excellent facilities. The room was spacious, comfortable, and definitely worth the money.
That said, the hotel is a bit far from the station, which might be less convenient if you are traveling with luggage. Inside the room, the air conditioning was not directed toward the bed, so it took some time for the room to cool down—especially during summer. The biggest downside, however, was the internet service, which was unfortunately the worst part of the stay.
Aside from these points, I found the hotel to be a comfortable and good-value choice.
