"Location was perfect. Right next to Grand Batam Mall. There are linkages from hotel direct to the Mall. Breakfast spread was delightful and some changes to the menu were noticed. They gave free hi-tea set for 2 persons upon check-in. They also gave away cookies. Will definitely stay again if I come to Batam."

"After a friendly & fast registration, we were told the room wasn't ready yet which was fine since we were an hour early. Decided to have coffee at the hotel's coffeehouse while we waited. About 15 minutes later the very nice front desk officer (didn't take down his name, sorry!) actually came over to our table with our room key to let us know our room was ready. Our room was a smoking room on the 17th floor. It was a very decent sized room with a comfortable extra sized king bed & large tv screen. Fridge & aircon was cold, bathrobes & slippers provided. Loved that each side of the bed had power outlets. The bathroom mirror has backlit lights that are controlled with a touch button on the mirror itself. Water pressure & water temperature control were great. The shower stall was big, which I appreciate. I have to make a special mention about breakfast. Halfway through our meal, we saw some of the staff standing by the wall. They stood evenly spaced out all through the restaurant. I thought, hmm, maybe a vip is coming. Music came on, so then i thought somebody's birthday? My jaw dropped a bit when they started dancing haha. I've gone to dinners that came with a show but this was the first time I've seen a breakfast show. Bravo though to all the staff for being so sporting!! Not sure if breakfast needed a show but it was certainly very entertaining lol. Food was good, amazing spread with lots of variety. Seating was spaced out so it didn't feel cramped. Lovely decor & quick on the plate clearing. All in all, this was a very good stay. My first time at a harris property & definitely won't be my last."

"2nd stay with Aston This time round they give me residence lobby instead of hotel lobby The room have similar amenities but residence area come with extra balcony (can smoke in balcony good for smokers) as previous hotel room was non smoking room Hotel generally feel more cleaner / newer renovation compare to residence room Hotel have extra full length mirror outside outside while residence have kitchen pantry and basin"

"Great location right opposite Grand Batam Mall. Super convenient with food and massage places just a short walk away. The rooms are clean, staff are very friendly, and the rainshower is excellent. They were also nice enough to provide extra water when requested. Just note you can hear the nearby mosques (music) at times, but otherwise a perfect stay!"

"My second stay in a span of 1 month. All good with the good service and always patient staffs! Saw crowd management improvement at breakfast time with extended dining tables. Hope to see some variations in live cooking sections, and more side dishes for the porridge section. Great dessert section!"

"A lot of eateries places that open till local time 11pm only. No mall within walking distance, needs to grab (very convenient to grab a car and competitive). Room space is relatively much smaller as compared to Aston Inn at Baloi. Staffs are great, from reception, room cleaner, doorbell, etc. No pool."
