Hotels Near Kouri Ocean Tower in Nakijin

The accommodation is high a little up hill so you can see the nice view and kouri bridge and the beach. Rooftop is very nice. On the sunny day you should go up and observe the view :). The room have a nice Jacuzzi with the amazing view. I enjoy my time in Kouri Okinawa so much. Super thanks to Mr.Tom the owner to guide us many things. He is super helpful and friendly. We enjoy his company so much. The breakfast was delicious coming with spam/ egg sandwich and fries :) .

Our family have booked two rooms separately by two booking in the same period for the family trip, we have already completed the pre-registration for the hotel check-in to issue the check-in code. However, one room can get the password for getting the hotel key, another room was failed to get the password in the self check-in counter. We have to call the hotel customer service to get the password. We talked over 20 minutes and it spent around HKD300 for the mobile phone roaming fee.

The view of the accommodation with the Kouri Bridge in front is really amazing... We were 7 people, 5 adults and 2 children, and the beds were spacious, and there was a structure where you could sleep with the kids in a tatami room. The bedding was clean, soft, and nice~ The pool water was very cold because it was December, but it was okay to use, and there was a jacuzzi next to it, so we had fun going back and forth. The electric appliances were Dyson products, and I felt like this was a resort that really put a lot of thought into it. One thing that was disappointing was that the power outage that started around 12 AM on the second day didn't last long. It was okay because it was a time to sleep, but the living room and room fluorescent lights that were turned on with backup power didn't turn off at all, so we had to sleep with the lights on... It was a bit frustrating because there was no guidance. It was restored in the morning, but other than that, it was a place that my whole family praised so much that it was great. I really want to visit again later. It's the best.

If there is more grass nearby, there will be a lot of insects. There are spider webs in some corners of the hotel room Before going to bed, I found bugs on the bedside and yellow stains on the sheets It’s a pity that there are so many insects at night that it’s impossible to use the swimming pool It is recommended that the hotel provide some insect repellents The price of the hotel is not cheap, and the location is not convenient either. Unexpectedly, there was no one to help carry the luggage to the room after check-in. Breakfast options are less If I get a perfect score out of 10, the price/performance ratio can only be compared to 6 points.

firstly, the route to the hotel and the parking was challenging, the view was excellent tho. secondly, there was a problem that while I was inside the room, my partner accidentally entered a wrong password outside, the high-pitched alarm lasted for 5 minutes, i couldn't even open the door from the inside... and the alarm was ON AGAIN for another 5 minutes when I tried to open the door from the inside after the alarm settled...

It was my first time to stay in a B&B on Kouri Island ~ great scenery ~ the very enthusiastic B&B owner, the landlady and their family ~ the whole family watched us leave when we left ^ _ ^ I was so touched ~ the breakfast was also delicious 😋 and there were desserts and coffee after the meal ~👍

It may be due to the epidemic. There are only three groups of guests, and there is no restaurant service. It feels like it is going to be closed. The hardware equipment is in disrepair for a long time, and the courtyard is not cleaned, but the sea view in front of the window and the white sand beach in front of you are the only comfort.

In terms of hygiene, the public bathroom must be relatively clean, but the room is OK. The location is simply remote, the road to drive in is also relatively rugged, but it is very close to the place to see the cherry blossoms, and there are water activities.  Breakfast is done well 

Inconvenience ㅇ I'm a little scared because there's no street lights on the way. ㅇ The front door is not automatically locked, but it is a bit uncomfortable because it is not habitual. ㅇ It's a bit inconvenient to use all the bowls as rice and side dishes. ㅇ Toilet soundproofing ㅇ There was a toilet on the kitchen side.. Good point ㅇ The pool is private and very good between the kitchen and living room. The water is circulating and clean. The landscaping in front of the pool is so pretty. ㅇ The kitchen is far from the room, so it is not disturbed by the distinction between people who play well and play more. ㅇ Towels, various supplies are too tight ㅇ It's so suitable for several families to go out and stay ㅇ Washing machine, dryer, swimming pool, sea use is also very convenient ㅇ Parking right in front of the front door ㅇ I thought there would be a lot of mosquitoes, but it's not a time (10/24, 25) at all The barbecue area is a bush, so there's a snail on the big moth wall.

First of all, there is too little public transportation in northern Okinawa. If you are not renting a car, it is strongly not recommended to stay here. We were careless and didn't pay attention to the expiry of our international driver's license, so we found out at the last minute that we couldn't rent a car, but the hotel couldn't be changed, so we had to bite the bullet and go. The journey was too hard. It took us three hours to take the bus from Naha Airport to Nakijin. It was impossible to call Uber at the castle ruins. Fortunately, someone helped us call a taxi. Yes, it is basically impossible to call Uber in northern Okinawa. Staying in a campervan was indeed a fun experience and the kids found it very new. The bathing area in the campervan is very narrow, but they have a public bathroom and sauna, which is very good. Unfortunately, it is not open 24 hours a day, so you have to go at the right time. The swimming pool is relatively small and the beach is beautiful but there are no lifeguards, so be careful when entering the water. The breakfast portion was small and not enough, the coffee was terrible. The biggest problem is that there is no dinner in the restaurant. It should be said that for dinner, there is only BBQ, and you must make a reservation in advance, and you have to cook it yourself. Or you can buy something outside and rent their BBQ stove, but when we arrived on the first day , there was absolutely nothing to eat. Since we didn’t have a car, we were quite helpless at that moment. Later, we saw on Google Maps a barbecue restaurant that could be reached in about 10 minutes' walk, so we went there. It was very difficult to find the small restaurant. It felt like it was a hut in the forest, but there were still many customers, so I didn't comment on whether it was delicious or not. , I was very grateful to have something to eat at that moment. However, in the suburbs, there are many stars at night, which is very beautiful. It's not far from Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Motobu Genki Village.
