Cleanliness: Very clean. This is my second stay here, and I'm still very satisfied with the room. The air purifier is a nice touch.
Amenities: The laundry room is very thoughtful, with new equipment. I stopped by the reading room and took a look. It's beautifully decorated, with a wide selection of books, and very relaxing.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nanchang!
There's a shuttle service from the West Railway Station. The front desk staff were very helpful, and one even held the elevator door open for me when I was exiting. They couldn't be more considerate. I strongly urge them to get a raise.

I can never recommend this hotel enough. Their service is better than I've seen anywhere and the staff is beyond friendly!
We stayed here for three weeks a year ago, and they all still remember us!
The laundry service is unheard of in any other place. You place your dirty clothes in a basket in front of your door, and LATEST the next day it's returned, your clothes clean and ironed.
The restaurant is open all day, and you can either order food or eat for free small snacks (drinks, fruits, congee, biscuits....). At 10 pm there is the evening meal, where you get a big bowl of noodles (you can choose the noodles and the sauce).
The buffet breakfast is very generous with a lot of choices.
Every evening, someone passes by the room to hand out yogurts.
When you come back to the hotel after a day out, the staff will greet you with a ”Welcome home.”
We tried the superior room (as seen in the pictures), with two toilets, a bathtub and a living room. But honestly we prefer the standard room, because of the windows. In the superior room, you have two small windows in each room, and half of it is covered by a mosquito net, so you can't see out. While in the standard room, you have a huge open window with a great view over the city and / or river. Also a standard room is so spacious that we don't need that extra living room.

SStanley The Travel ManThis hotel is hands down one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. From the time that I checked innto the time that I checked out, and everything in between was a wonderful experience.
The location is across from that Tengwang Pavilion. Part of the complex is free. The paid entry part is only 50 Yuans. 25 Yuans for 65 or older . I am not sure if it is free for 70 and over.
The room size , Room # 1816, is enormous with a breathtaking view of the temples below, a bridge in the distance and the synchronized light shows in the evening. The room has everything , including a small fridge stocked with soft drinks. Coffee and tea were provided and resupply daily. Room was clean daily and meticulously . Garbage were thrown out, towels replaced. Everything is automatic including the curtains and the toilets. The place is a haven for traveler where one can relax and enjoy the fine ambience.
I spent 2 nights there. The breakfast has many varieties and slightly different so you won’t be eating the same. There were western style and Chinese breakfast, noodles, bread,porridges, salad, fruit, cakes, etc. The coffee is freshly ground. It is buffet style and the breakfast hour on the weekend is from 6:30 am to 11:00 am. I got there at 6:30 am and everything was ready to eat.
There are free laundry room with separate dryers that worked very well, plus ironing board and iron. There are 2 big chairs in the room to relax in . The washers and dryers look spotless , new and clean Just across the hall is a gym.
The service is out standing . The people who worked there were all genuinely wanted to do a good job and went out of their way to help. I don’t know them by name . I want to thank everyone there for making my stay such a joy.
All in all , this hotel deserves the highest score possible. It is hard to find flaws because everything was just perfect.

The breakfast options weren't extensive, but they were all excellent. I loved it. If I hadn't been passing through, I would have stayed a few days longer. The room was large and comfortable, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There were no flaws, only positives. It was better than other five-star hotels we've stayed in.

LLiuGreat experience at the Swiss Grand. Would probably stay here again. Room was clean, and the location was ideal for us. It's walking distance to Tengwangge, and close to many lively pedestrian streets. The hotel staff probably does not see many foreign visitors, so there was some confusion with our documents at check in. However, it was quickly resolved.
