"We were at the Nantucket Hotel for a wedding. What a great experience! The hotel rooms and suites are very well appointed. The staff is exemplary. Ferry pick up service, housekeeping staff, dining staff are all top notch. When getting a ferry pick up be sure to mention which ferry you're on and be patient as traffic even during the shoulder seasons can be challenging. The concierge staff is very competent and helpful. They treat their guests like family!! The hotel is very quiet. The wedding reception was at the hotel and all seemed to go flawlessly. The family did not have a wedding planner. The staff seemed very responsive and ran like a well oiled machine!"

"My experience at this inn was great. My daughter Erica and I stayed here overnight August 18-19. First off, we didn’t drive in but there is a free shuttle bus downtown that takes you right to the corner, a few feet away from the inn. Now for the inn itself. It was lovely. We had one of the rooms upstairs with a private bathroom. As soon as you walk into the room you see that it looks like it belongs on an island. It’s done up in a seaside motif with cool and calming tones of blue and white with seashells and the like. Next, but most important, was the cleanliness. You could feel and see the clean. I didn’t even feel a desire to whip out my Lysol wipes and sanitizer. The hosts were so thoughtful. They had complimentary ice cold orange juice in the refrigerator for us along with different kinds of snacks and good coffee. Also complimentary. In the hall there is a microwave and even more snacks. At the front entrance there are some other snacks and drinks that you can pay for at a small price using the honesty system. And yet still there is a free bowl of fruit there also. I’ve arrived at hotels starving and unable to get food immediately. That was not a problem here. They also provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. The good stuff. They also had a variety of streaming services and regular tv. They thought of everything. I slept so good here. If I go back to Nantucket this is where I’ll be staying. I highly recommend this place. FYI-I think the shuttle bus is not going to be free starting in 2026. But even if you have to pay it’s a convenient option if you don’t want to drive. There are shuttles that I believe take you to just about anywhere you want to go on the island."

The Nantucket Hotel & Resort ★★★★
"We spent 2 nights here in an Island Deluxe room. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I thought the room looked better in person than online. Our room included a fridge & microwave. The hotel is charming and well-maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful, particularly Front Desk & bellhops/shuttle drivers. We enjoyed our meals at the hotel. Eating lunch on the front porch was lovely. The lower level has a very nice ambience for hanging out, plus nice fitness center, spa & self-service laundry. (It appeared that the WD required coins. No credit cards accepted. A dollar change machine was available.) The hotel is 5-min drive from the ferry. We used the hotel’s Two Island Package to reserve ferries, transportation and hotel rooms (2 nights here & 2 at sister property on Martha’s Vineyard, Winnetu). This package made it super easy to visit both islands from Hyannis. A family pool and adult pool are available. The adult pool has very comfortable seating. My only minor disappointment is that music is played at the adult pool which, for me, was not conducive to relaxing & reading. So I moved to the family pool which, ironically, was quieter. Walking around town was easy. We took a 90-min tour of the Island and visited the well-done Whalers Museum, along with the Hawden House & Old Jail. I enjoyed ice cream at the Juice Bar. I would stay here again."

The Wauwinet Nantucket ★★★★
"My mother and I go to the Wauwinet every year. We always enjoy every minute of our stay there. From the minute we get picked up from the ferry everyone is super sweet. The food is exceptional. As someone with celiac disease eating out can be challenging and they are always so accommodating. Just made my reservation for this July and I am counting down the days."

Seven Sea Street Inn ★★★
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS OR RISK LOSING YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. We planned a last-minute 24-hour trip from Martha’s Vineyard to Nantucket and booked a one-night reservation just an hour before our ferry was scheduled to depart. Unfortunately, the ferry was canceled due to weather. When we called the innkeeper to explain the situation, instead of offering a refund for our $800 reservation, he recommended we spend an additional $400 to fly from Martha’s Vineyard to Hyannis—despite dangerous weather—in order to try to catch a ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket. At that point, there were no ferries operating from Martha’s Vineyard, either to Nantucket or Hyannis. The suggestion was unsafe, impractical, and left us out $800 with no support. Save your money!"
