It was NOT the Jared Coffin. An adjoining building from the 80s, absolutely not sound proof. No temperature control in the room. Dismal bathroom.
The price was off season, but not reasonable for the dingy setting. Noise level from other rooms was horrible

Staff is wonderful . Pleasant and helpful . Location is perfect as it is in center of town. Breakfast was very enjoyable . Looking forward to returning to Jared Coffin house

Amazing! Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and see. Room and bathroom are small and there are no blinds on window, just a top window shutter. But we had a great time, people are great, breakfast is delicious, many choices. And they carried our bags ( no elevator) and drove us to the ferry. Couldn’t ask for more.

The hotel is lovely, but could use a deep cleaning. It was less than spotless, but tolerable.
The porter was a friendly fellow, but the desk clerk seemed unable to smile.

Great walking distance from ferry, shops, beach, and food. Stayed in the Daniel Webster house, the walls are a bit thin. Not a big deal but I would suggest light blocking shades for the windows.
