Hotel not marked with 4 stars neither on the door nor anywhere. The surroundings are very dirty, also the yard. The hotel is located in an old palace. During the stay, the windows were replaced. The breakfast room defends itself, beautiful, the best place in the hotel. Very nice waiters, good breakfast.

My expectations were perhaps a little too high given the rave reviews this hotel enjoys all over the web. The flair of the building and the breakfast room - and the breakfast itself - were stunning, but the furnishings in the room were dated and worn rather than antique - our wardrobe didn’t open or close and the hangers fell apart upon use. Corners were dusty. Our room (room 230) went out onto a terrace accessible to all guests so we had little privacy. On the other hand we had a terrace on which to enjoy a late night sink!

The hotel is located in the ally that's full of graffiti and dirty. The room is dated with no window and unclean. The bed is old and uncomfortable.

Centrally Located and Charming
Decumani Hotel De Charme is centrally located to explore the historic center of Naples. The hotel is much bigger than it seems from the outside and our room was quite spacious - especially by European standards. The bathroom was a decent size, although the shower was small but adequate. The bed was more firm than I'm used to but after the first night I didn't even notice.
The historic hall where the breakfast buffet is located is simply stunning and a beautiful place to start the day. Carlo and the other attendants at the buffet were friendly and welcoming and they made sure we had anything we needed. The buffet has a good selection of items to choose from and everything was fresh and very delicious.
This was a great "base" to explore Naples from and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

This hotel was in a perfect location. We could walk to most desired locations. This was a girls' trip for my daughter and me. We felt safe at all times. The staff was delightful and the breakfast was a shining star to start our day!
