The only downside is that the shower and bathtub are combined in the bathroom, which made me a bit worried about slipping. However, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the station, making it very convenient. There are even police officers stationed at the hotel entrance, which made me feel quite secure. I'd recommend staying here if you're traveling by train early in the morning or late at night."

This hotel looked exquisite and modern in the photos on Ctrip, but the reality was completely different—it was practically a guesthouse from a 20th-century China. Actual vs. Promotional Photos: • Photos: Bright, clean, and tastefully decorated • Reality: Dark, dilapidated, outdated facilities, and appalling hygiene. At around 5000 RMB per night, I expected a quality stay, but instead, I was disappointed by a place that couldn't even provide basic cleaning. Every detail in the room revealed a lack of attention to detail, and the overall environment was filthy and chaotic. Most unacceptable is this: This practice of misleading consumers with heavily edited photos is essentially fraud. If I had known the truth beforehand, I would never have chosen to stay here, let alone paid such an exorbitant price. The uploaded photos show only the hotel entrance; the hotel itself is just an old, run-down building. I have already checked out and taken photos as evidence. I hope the platform will verify the authenticity of the photos and warn other travelers to be wary of such 'photo-shopped' listings. Naples has countless beautiful sights; don't let this kind of accommodation ruin your trip.""

"This hotel listing was very deceptive. This is barely a hotel and is run more like a shared apartment. Take your money and business elsewhere!!! Check-in: Despite being in contact with the reception for a week before arrival, we received no instructions. During the regular check-in window, no one was there to check us or another couple of guests in. They can remotely open the door for you to enter which is helpful, but also a major safety issue. They opened the wrong room for us and we walked into a room with other guests items all over the room. Room: The room itself is fine, but not worth the price. There was only a top sheet on the bed and although we found a duvet tucked away, it was not covered with a duvet cover and was stained, making it impossible to use in a hygienic manner. The bathroom lights are also automatic so if you use the restroom or shower for longer than 2 minutes- expect to do so in the dark. Noise: There is a regular drum performer at a restaurant directly below room 2 and 3’s window facing the view that is extremely loud. When I asked the manager on WhatsApp she says this is common and goes until midnight on most occasions. This would have been nice to know in advance and once again- totally not worth the price for a room that is unusable until midnight. Deceptive listing: Overall the listing is quite deceptive promising a regular hotel experience with “concierge” and “luggage storage.” The luggage storage option was just to leave your bags out in the open. Since we saw no staff on site the entire first day and night of our stay, you are trusting your bags with anyone who may waltz through the property. We took ours with us to avoid the risk. The concierge service is absolutely a lie. The only contact we had with anyone prior to check out was all over WhatsApp."

"Palazzo Caracciolo is a great place to stay right in the heart of Naples, perfectly located close to amenities and many traditional spots. We know Naples quite well and have stayed in many different accommodations over the years, and this is definitely one of the best we’ve experienced. What truly makes the difference is the staff. From reception to the kitchen, everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was fine overall, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hairdryer and the TV felt quite outdated, the mattress seemed a bit worn, and the pillows were much too soft for our taste. Despite these minor issues, the excellent location and the outstanding staff really improve the stay and make Palazzo Caracciolo a place we wil happily return to."

"It took a while to find this hotel, because the real entrance is on the 3rd floor. Everyone saw that the first picture of the house number 62 was the place to enter the hotel. The small elevator in the second picture can drag luggage up, and people go up the stairs. The front desk lady said that this hotel has a history of more than 700 years and is protected, so it cannot be modified. The facilities in the hotel are good, the breakfast is rich in variety, and you can sit in the garden for breakfast. Room facilities are also good, very quiet. In addition to the unsatisfactory environment outside the door, the hotel is still worth recommending."
