Or too busy? No room clothes! On the contrary, maybe the baby bed that the guest needed until the day before remained. The location of the hotel is located in the opposite side of the downtown in the direction. You can leave the station to the hotel and go along the track to shortcut. The lobby was wide 々. Amenity etc are placed next to the front desk and the style to take from there. toothbrushes too. However, the cup was provided in the room. The elevator is a style of pressing the destination floor with a card key. Some elevators also hold the key when going down . The room also has an air purifier, baggage rack, and alarm clock. Glass in a coffee cup and ice in it. The bath is card key, and there are other dedicated keys for women. The exclusive key is 々 exchange day. Hand towels bath towels are provided in the bath, so you don't need to take them from the room. Towel place, I think this is bad for guests, but it is quite messy, so I thought I needed a regular check. The washroom is 8, and 2 of them can be set up with parents and children. No sauna.

Fantastic Hotel with a perfectly convenient location. The only thing is the bad attitude of a female manager at the front desk. We asked for more bottled water, but she refused. Refusing is OK, but she thought we didn't understand Japanese and said some bad words to us.
Unfortunately, we are just not fluent in Japanese, but we can totally understand what she was saying. A pathetic woman manager ruined other staff's good service and hard work.

A hotel that feels like a business + hot spring hotel, just next to JR Nara Station. The room is clean and quite large, 3 F, but the view from the window was completely elevated by the railway, and I was worried about the sound of the train. The bathroom in the room has only a shower, but there is a large communal bath in a natural hot spring, so I was able to relax. There was no problem with the hot springs and breakfast, and it was as expected. Free bottled water 1 book in the refrigerator, WiFi is also free to connect.

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want your baby’s cot taken away and they force you to have your baby sleep on the floor and be squashed! That is exactly what they did to us while my baby was still sleeping in her cot they wanted to take away my baby’s cot leaving her bed less. Where would my baby sleep when they took my cot away ?! The hotel doesn’t care about you and the service is terrible. I told them months before booking I needed a cot which they assured me they had. Then the hotel proceeded to take away my baby’s cot during our 2 week stay leaving my baby in unsafe sleeping conditions as she had NO WHERE TO SLEEP!!! The service here is terrible. You are better off staying somewhere else. They are very inhumane to treat a baby like that and leave a baby bed less to sleep on the floor. My baby is unable to sleep in our bed as we are heavy sleepers and do not want to squash her while we slept. This hotel is terrible! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I am so baffled that an entire big hotel only has 1 cot that guests have to fight over? And even when you booked the cot first and have your baby sleeping in the cot first the hotel would still take your baby’s cot away and leaving your baby bed less!!!! Utterly disgusting and unacceptable!!! I want a full refund based upon the lie that they told me that there is a cot available to use when there is not!!! To all families: DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I believe it is important to acknowledge and celebrate excellence, and I sincerely hope that the outstanding efforts of the hotel team members are recognized for their service excellence: - Wang Yu Wen (Azekura) - Nobukazu Yoshida (Azekura) - Miyamae (Azekura) - Okubo Ren (Azekura) - Murata (Lounge) - Pabina (Lounge) - Kim (Front Desk) - Pitcha (Front Desk) - Arjun (Front Desk) - Dushanta (Front Desk) Some highlights of this stay: - Sparkling Wine provided for Bonvoy members during breakfast, ingredients also sourced from Nara - FHR dining credit has 125usd instead of the 100usd - Azekura the JP restaurant: one of the best teppanyaki and kaiseki I had in JP - no sento but there's a jacuzzi in the pool. The fitness gym was quite comprehensive The regular Room was already very big, comfy bed and clean! No upgrade this time since all rooms are fully booked - service! 100% good! One of the most friendly staff and quite a number overseas staff. - The hotel provide a shuttle bus to Nara station or Kintetsu Below content for those who has time to read To start, it was the first day of the dining experience at Azekura that got me to have not one but two dining occasions at the restaurant. Chef Wang Yu Wen not only delivered a gastronomic experience throughout my teppanyaki lunch course, but he also delivered a very personal one-one dining service experience. His culinary expertise was showcased in every dish despite my dietary restriction, every flavour simply delighted my palate. Kirito did an exceptional service by recommending a great local Nara sake to pair with my lunch course., The second day of Kaiseki was equally delightful and I was extremely surprised to be greeted by the 料理長, Mr Nobukazu Yoshida who honestly provided such an “Omotenashi” experience throughout my time at Azekura. Mr Okubo Ren and Ms Miyamae also delivered great service during my lunch dining on the second day. Overall, the dining experience at Azekura was the highlight of my stay and till now, I couldn’t help but marvel due to the great service that was initiated by Mr Wang Yu Wen. Additionally, I would like to commend the impeccable service I received during the check-in process. I I was impressed at Mr Kim’s patience and service throughout the check-in experience, and I was really glad to get a warm welcoming experience from both Mr Arjun and Ms Pitcha at the lobby. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate specific requests made a significant difference, setting the tone for an enjoyable and happy stay. It is evident that the team takes pride in delivering top-notch service, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Furthermore, the hospitality at the lounge was exemplary. Despite the huge crowd during the festive season, the lounge staff did create a comfortable and enjoyable one. Both Murata and Pabina were some of those whom I felt had delivered great service during the evening cocktail hours. Lastly

The historical significance of this venue must be highlighted to illustrate its uniqueness in Nara - We signed up for the complimentary tour of the hotel offered to hotel guests on certain mornings of the week and had the pleasure of having Ms. Sato, the director of marketing, introduce the story of Shisui and its past-life as the residence of the governor of Nara between 1922 to 2017, then as Shisui hotel with guest-rooms designed by renown architect Kengo Kuma. The emperor of Japan had stayed on property in post-war to sign the San Francisco treaty. Sato-san's thorough introduction in fluent-english had me realise a stay at this hotel is a unique experience in the way that it is beyond just luxury. The staff had been wonderful and eager to please without pushiness. It was much appreciated, as it gave room for my wife and I to enjoy each other's company at this perfectly peaceful property. The staff had been amazing from the beginning, at check-in, we had Rika-san, a lady with eyes that can smile, to help us check-in while we rest our feet at the lounge with tea, then guide us to our room while briefing us on all its amenities. The rooms were modern with accents of traditional Japanese designs to remind me of the locations' history. Details like the washroom walls that look like zen-gardens and overall wooden decor made my stay at the room one of the most relaxing experiences ever at any hotel. The French-Japanese wine-paired dinner at Suiyou was also our culinary highlight of our two-week vacation in Japan. In summary, after the two night stay, my wife had requested that we should come back to Shisui in the spring, summer and fall to experience all the seasons at this venue.

We stayed one night in FUFU Nara on the way from Tokyo to Kyoto. We took a special train - Aoniyoshi from Kyoto to Nara and it was very enjoyable ride. We took a taxi from Kintetsu Nara station to the hotel. Hotel staff greeted us right away and kept the our luggage for us until the check-in time. It is located next to Ukimido and we were able to visit Todaiji and the giant Buddha before the check-in. Once we return, we had a nice cold welcome drink. Hotel staff were very professional and friendly. It was obvious that they take a great pride on performing their tasks. Our room was super clean and modern with some Japanese touches. And the hot tub on the balcony was amazing. We contemplated between FUFU and the new Shisui, but we were very glad that we chose FUFU. At FUFU, I believe all rooms are suites and come with the private open air onsen. We did read some reviews on the noise. We did not notice too much especially after dodging so many screaming school children at Todaiji. At night, we had teppan yaki dinner for our anniversary. It was pretty cool to dress in yukata with a hanten jacket. The sandals were comfortable, also. We walked through the bamboo garden to get to the restaurant. Our chef was friendly and food was delicious. With sake pairing, we had a great time. Breakfast was served at the same restaurant, and the walk was beautiful in the morning. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The lady who served us explained each dish very politely. It's hard to believe they are so helpful even without any tips. Staying at FUFU made our stay in Nara very special.

I didn't have high hopes for this hotel, I just thought it was cheap. Then I was a little surprised when I went in. It was such a big room. My friend said she had never stayed in a hotel with such a big room. It looked like a couple's hotel, but the facilities inside were not too couple-friendly. The bed was normal, and there was a massage chair next to it. It's actually a very suitable place for vacation, and the price is really worth it. As for transportation, well, I couldn't find it using Baidu Maps, so I used Apple's built-in map or Google Maps to find it. Then I walked for almost half an hour following the navigation because I walked slowly. But when I came back, I could walk very fast because I was familiar with the road. Overall it's not bad.

GGuest UserStayed for 2 days in two different rooms - Japanese style and modern one. It was an overall positive experience. + Great location + Good view (not excellent because of the trees, but it's still good) + Very friendly and helpful staff + They speak English + Convenience store (not 24h) at the basement + Spacy rooms for Japan and given price - Not many things are included in the room but could be asked on reception - Some modernization/refreshment would be useful Additionally, there is a Visitor Center on the 1st floor, where you could find any information you need about Nara and the nearby areas. Things like what is better to visit to sightsee or to eat. Including in English. Had a great talk with Jay-san and visited some of the places he recommended. Thanks!
1163vuvBooking because it was a new and clean hotel to see the advertisement in the story of Instagram. Location is good. The building and room are as impressive as the photos on the homepage. I wanted a bus mat and a bus mat if I raised something. I was happy with the free mini bar, but I wish there were a little more snacks. Dinner is good to look good but the taste is normal. There was no volume and I felt the speed of delivery because I had to eat immediately. Breakfast is buffet style except for the main 4 items. It was better than breakfast at a business hotel, but there was no impression like this. The staff was very young and had a lot of unfamiliar times. This time, I was able to stay at 10800 yen per person with 2 meals in the goto campaign, so I think it was enough to consider the price. It's subtle if you return to the usual fee...
On my inaugural visit to Nara City, I enjoyed staying at “Toyoko Inn Kintetsu Nara Ekimae.” The hotel’s proximity to the train and bus stations made transportation incredibly convenient. The staff’s smiles were ever-present, and their eagerness to assist guests was commendable. The cleanliness of the rooms, coupled with the presence of windows, allowed for a scenic view of the outside world and the sunlight to grace the room’s interior—a rarity among business hotels. The breakfast buffet offered a selection of Western foods and highlighted some local specialties. All of this came at a reasonable price, providing a quality, comfortable experience that left a lasting impression.
CCHIDEJIOYAJI0724I stayed at the 3 generation including my grandson. It was an inn near my home, and if there was no Nara Prefectural citizenship, there was no chance to stay. The parking lot is narrow, so it is a style to park at the entrance and leave the key. After the reception at the front desk, you will be guided to the room and you can provide tea in the room, which is an old-fashioned customer service. Although the entire building is undeniably aging, there was a sense of security because it was well maintained, cleaned, and corona measures. The room was a large room with the next room, but the five-storied pagoda of Kofukuji was a room in the direction where I couldn't see it. The bath has a large communal bath and an open-air bath on the same floor, but it was a pity that I had to change clothes and enter again. I used it properly as a large communal bath before dinner and an open-air bath before going to bed. It was an artificial hot spring, so it was quite a spring quality. Dinner was served in a private room with consideration for my grandchildren, but it was simple but delicately seasoned and was top class in Nara inn. Breakfast was also very delicious. The landlady was well supervised by the employees from check-in to check-out, and everyone's manners were wonderful. At dinner, we were waiting at the entrance, and at breakfast, we were 々 for employees with great consideration to guide us ahead of the elevator. There is no accommodation, and dinner is possible, and it is a revisit.
EeddiehappyA hotel full of history as it has been the chosen venue for important events in Nara. Many celebrities had stayed in this hotel including Albert Einstein. Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. The vicinity is nice. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. The room is spacious. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent. Very helpful staff. An enjoyable stay indeed!
GGuest UserI stayed here for 2 nights with my family of 4 (a couple and 2 elementary school students) during the year-end and New Year holidays. This inn seems to have opened in October 2022 after being renovated from another ryokan, so it feels more for foreigners than for Japanese people. Of course, the staff can communicate in Japanese, but they seemed to be foreign nationals. All staff were friendly. It was my first time in Nara, but the location was good. It is close to Nara Park, and all shrine areas such as Kasuga Taisha are within walking distance. It is also an area where there are many stylish restaurants, so I think adults can enjoy it. My family had two elementary school students who liked and disliked meals, so I prefer family restaurants and Italian restaurants rather than bars and izakayas, but it was okay. There is no elevator, but the suitcases and luggage I left before check-in were carried to the room. It's a wooden building, so the walls are thin, and there was a sign saying no loud noises. The bath is a hot spring and the spring quality is good, but it cannot be said that it is large. There are 3 showers in the men's bath and 10 lockers with locks in the dressing room, but it was so cramped if two adults changed clothes at the same time. If you are an adult, it is better to have about 2 people at the same time, and if 3 to 4 people enter, it will be full. It's just a little bigger than a home bath. There was one coin laundry. You need to bring your own detergent, but there is a washing machine and dryer, which is recommended for long-term guests and those who want to keep luggage to a minimum. Necessary amenities are available at the front desk. There is no refrigerator and TV in the room, so it would be nice if it was easy, but it was a little inconvenient when drinking alcohol bought at a convenience store in the room. The toilet in the room has also been renovated, and it feels like a clean home toilet.
GGwyn WThis is a Rayocan, or a bed-- and- breakfast. It's a room in a private house in a residential area. It's great if you want an idea of how Japanese live. You are provided with slippers when you arrive and you leave outdoor shoes in the front door. DON'T bring your slippers in the bedroom! The bedroom is traditional, with floor carpet and bed linen provided. Your bag should be left outside the actual sleeping area. To be honest, the space is narrow and you need to move carefully to avoid damage the door to slip. The host was good enough to brew and serve us traditional green tea (a taste can be found if the truth is told!). In the morning, we were provided a choice between a traditional breakfast or a Japanese sea. We chose one of them to be able to compare and experience. Because the house is located in a residential area, we had to walk a bit (10 - 15 minutes) to find dinner. I was not sure if we found where the host was leading us, but we found what I can only describe as a ”restaurant” where we had something to eat. In the morning, the round bus passed quite close and this was a bit awkward. will take you to the station. The house allowed two rooms, we were lucky because we were the only guests so there was the best room. In addition, you share the bathroom, toilet and sink. That might not be anyone's favorite. You can also wash and dry clothes, which is always convenient if you are traveling - although there is an additional cost for this. This place is worth staying if you are traveling to Japan and want a real taste of the country.
FFENGThe breakfast is not bad, the staff here are very polite, the service attitude is good, the room is a little bit outdated, but it is better than the price, the hardware is complete, you can take a bath and relax after a day of shopping, it is not bad!
XXIAOSAI ordered a double bed and made a loft. The overall space is not very large, but it is much more comfortable than domestic hotels. The hygiene and service are excellent. The location is very good. It is 7 minutes walk from Nara Park and 5 minutes from the subway entrance. A place to eat, drink and play for 5 minutes.
You can play in Nara for a few more days, the deer are very cute
AAnonymous UserThe reception and bathroom outside are okay, there is a washing machine, but the small room is mixed with men and women, and the curtains are not sealed, you can see inside, and the lights are dim, it is a bit scary to be alone. No one was there when we checked out. After waiting for a while, we put the room card at the front desk and left. One door is the dormitory area, and the other is the washing area. The dormitory area requires you to enter the password, but the washing area and the dormitory area are connected. You can enter the washing area casually. I feel so scared to stay overnight and run away. The price is cheap, but there is no sense of security.
