"Sigh.... The food was good and the room was about what I expected from an old house. The trouble arose when I first had to pay up front for dinner as they had a problem with getting their money from *******. Then when I got home and checked my CC statements, there was another charge of $550 in addition to the ******* charge! I called and spoke to Valerie and got a rather confusing "explanation" of how I got charged by mistake and they would refund that charge, but "it might take a few weeks". After a month I texted and was told they needed to get in touch with the bookkeeper.... A week later and still no refund. There ALSO was a completely separate charge of $71 that should have been part of the total from *******. So here itg is March and I'm still waiting on my $550 and $71.... There are plenty of other nice B and B's in Natchez..."

"Enchanting art, delightful host, comfortable guest house, with a fascinating history. We booked Joe’s home last minute after deciding on a whim to spend the night in Natchez. Best decision of our entire trip. Joe is wonderful. His home is full of surprises and every single item has a story that Joe is happy to tell. His knowledge of the area and his deep love of history kept us captivated for multiple hours. The conversations flew by! The cottage was very comfortable with strong air conditioning and fitted with everything we would need. (Especially loved the touch of Joan Rivers lore.) My friend and I really enjoyed the covered porch with attached patio while an evening storm passed. The colorfully lit landscaping with multiple fountains kept us outside until midnight. Our biggest surprise during our stay was Breakfast. Want to know what it’s like to feel like royalty? Joe pours coffee from sterling silver pots and serves food on 19th-Century French china. It felt like a scene from Downton Abby or Gilded Age. We were left in awe. Peaceful, serine, and so so comfortable. An absolute must stay if you’re in Natchez. I will be returning again from NYC. Thank you Joe!"

"We spent our 30th anniversary and was greatly impressed as soon as we arrived. The B&B is located close to town but off the beaten path. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable with a private bath. The made to order breakfast was the best B&B breakfast we ever had! Can’t say enough about the view from their back yard! The bluffs are so high it felt like seeing a sunset in the mountains but looking at the mighty Mississippi River. Loved relaxing in the screened in porch overlooking the bluff. Seeing and listening to the tugboats on the River was so relaxing. Heather the owner/hostess and her husband and mom were so nice and welcoming. They did a great job with making us feel at home. We will be back!"
