What an absolute gem! We'd had a really bad experience booking a hotel last minute when we were stranded in Delhi - which turned out to be unclean and in an sketchy area. When staying again we booked with J House. After a long travel day we were so thankful to be there. The vibe is chill, friendly, modern and stocked full of everything you need. Payment was hassle free and the guys at the desk helped us order take out. Everything felt very secure. Everyone says how nice the common area and terrace is but we didn't even hang out there because the room was so nice and spacious and the bed so comfy - we didn't want to leave the room. If we're in Delhi again, we'll be definitely staying.

Jhouse is a safe and pleasant escape from the chaotic Delhi. I stayed in a 4-person mixed room. It was clean and had essentials. Reception is very friendly, they provide great food at budget friendly price. The area is close to Humayunpur neighborhood, which has great places to eat and shop. It is also close to Dilli Haart crafts market, which is worth visiting.

I only stayed a night here to be near the airport but saying I was pleasantly surprised by my private room here is an understatement. The room was massive and so incredibly clean and beautifully furnished. I had a great night's sleep. Much better value than the aerocity hotels I would say. Lovely, welcoming staff and the whole hostel is beautifully decorated and feels so peaceful (which is rare in Delhi). I can't say much about the local area but I would definitely recommend this as a great place to come home to and hang out with other travellers.

Location is good. Away from centre. But it’s nice and busy. Metro station is one km away. 5 minutes walk. Not lot of food options outside. Just few local street food places

They are poor condition environment. They will charge for 2 bed 1800 on dormitory. Like this can find good hotel room, not clean

So many rules, i have requested for lower bed they didn't provide the booking can be moved before someone arrive if i come early to there is possibility to give lower bed.

In a very crowded area. You have to walk for 5-7 minutes with your luggage to be at jhouse. Very strict rules no guest no visitors allowed. No complimentary breakfast everything is charged. To get in and out the property you need permission. No blanket. Lot of noise of children around in the building.

My room was nicely furnished with a comfy bed and good bathroom but didn't have a window. No restaurant on premises but a basic shared kitchen is available. Doable walk from the underground station (10 min or less) but the area can feel a little sketchy, especially for a solo female traveller. Would not go our at night. Handy supermarket downstairs but no viable options for restaurants within walking distance. Nice shared lounge with books and free purified water to refill your bottle.
