Compared with Asian countries, American hotels are more expensive and the decoration is relatively simple. This time I chose the Marriott with larger rooms, which still met my expectations.

Early check-in was possible and luggage was stored for free. You must pay a separate credit of $30 per day at the hotel, and the amount can be used at the restaurant.

The room is relatively large in Times Square, with average facilities, sanitation, and good soundproofing. Apart from the ambulance sirens, you can hardly hear any noise from the street. Downstairs is Broadway, and it is convenient to go anywhere in the center of Manhattan, but the air conditioner is a bit noisy.

The room, view and location are all OK. Foreigners check in directly, but we Chinese have to wait until 4 o'clock to check in. After communicating with Ctrip, we checked in at around 3 o'clock and were arranged a room on the 44th floor (the highest is 45th). I like Ctrip. The front desk did not give us breakfast coupons. We had to go back and forth to queue up for breakfast coupons. Bad review. Breakfast is generally a classic American breakfast.

It was in the most luxurious location, so there was a lot to enjoy even if we arrived late at night. There was a good reason to pay more for a room with a view, and the room was larger than expected and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is located right on Times Square, making it an ideal starting point for exploring New York. The room matched the description and my expectations. The room was clean and bright, the beds were comfortable and we didn't hear much of the hustle and bustle outside the room. Occasionally you could hear the neighbors through the walls and one night there was construction noise on the building site opposite. We didn't use any of the hotel's paid services because they were more expensive than outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, except for the concierge who was arrogant and fobbed me off instead of helping. WiFi was free and there was a daily voucher for €30 in the hotel restaurant. We would book the hotel again.

The room is not very clean. It is a renovated room. I am so disappointed. There are too many rooms and basically no service. It is not as good as domestic Home Inns.

We arrived little bit earlier (30 min - 1 hour), and they offer early check-in. I appreciate it! However, I did not have full understanding for destination fee & pre-charging system.

There is no drinking water in the room. Not even for purchase. You need to pay exorbitant prices like 8 US dollars for a bottle of water at the 8th floor gift shop or walk 10 minute to a nearby store. Receptionist did not bother to tell this and it took mea while to figure out this unbelievable reality. Why can't they sort out such a basic need?
