"The Ludlow Boutique Hotel in the Soho district of New York is ideally located for shopping in the nearby shops and brunch cafes. The point is that the scenery is really great! Margiela's bathrobes, Marvis's toothbrushes, and cute Boxed Water are pleasing to the details. The fixed room type is Loft Queen, and the holiday of 3600RMB is not worth a night! And the le labo's care kit has been changed now. However, such a scenery is worthy of the off-season."
"The hotel service is very good, the location is convenient, and the room is spacious."

"Hotel location is excellent, very convenient for business travel, this price is good value for money, the waiter is warm, the first floor is the famous WOLFGANG'S steak restaurant, it is worth trying, the only regret is that there is no hot water bottle, there is no way to boil water ."
"I stayed there for about a week.
I didn't feel the service from the hotel staff was very good, but they did provide a minimum level of service. When I checked in, I was given a welcome drink voucher and a $25 coin that I could use at the hotel's convenience store, so I used it to buy salads, water, etc.
The cleaning was very good. After cleaning, two bottles of water were left out regardless of the number of people, which was very helpful.
As for the hotel amenities, they only provided the bare minimum, so although they did provide shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, I recommend bringing your own.
The location was perfect. It was easy to get to everywhere, and it was about an hour from the airport. Times Square was within walking distance, and there were plenty of food stores, marts, and souvenir shops nearby, so I was able to stay there without any inconvenience."
"Except for an extra charge of $ 49 per person per day of the resort fee, this is not acceptable, and I hope to cancel it.
Good location, same building with park central. Manhattan club
Newly renovated, but the toilet and bathroom in the room are too small, only half the size of the Manhattan club
Breakfast was generous and dinner was negligible,
Opposite diagonally is Carnegie Hall, the subway station is right out, walk 10 minutes to times square 5 minutes to central park
15 minutes by subway to Wall Street,
If you can cancel the resort fee. I will book this hotel every time I go
Otherwise, I would still choose Manhattan club"
"It's located in the center of New York, so it's easy to get around.
The room was small so it was a bit inconvenient to leave luggage, but the hotel itself was clean and nice. Recommended for those traveling alone!"
"Really Great location. In the center of the action. If you don't like crowds, this is not for you. Comfy bed. Well heated during winter which was great.
The restaurant upstairs was always fully booked, no privileged access to people staying at the hotel.
Helpful staff but sometimes too agressive staff for tips. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable at times.
Room linens, curtains were dirty.
Found some food packaging from the people before us next to the bed so it's not cleaned very well."
"There is a fee for luggage deposit, the suitcase is 3$, professional hotel service with everything in a clean, small room, low cost employees, but decent bed, new and clean… pretty good for the price."
"From the day I first arrived to the day I finished, the hotel staff's service was so good that I felt good~
The accommodation was also cleanly managed, and although the bathtub water didn't drain in the middle, it was resolved right away when I spoke about it~
Considering the location in Manhattan, New York, the accommodation was spacious and nice!"

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThis should be an old hotel that has been completely renovated. The room is very beautiful and stylish, and every item is very exquisite. The bathroom is small and the shower water is small, which may be due to the renovation of the old building. But it is worth staying. The bar downstairs looks very good at night. The food ordering in the room tastes great! And fast! There is a small problem. When you deposit your credit card at the front desk, you must bring a chip.
KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserThe check in process was very quick and felt very rushed. There was no tour of the building so I was left to find things on my own. Thats my only complaint, other than that it was accurately descirbed.

GGuest UserThe room facilities are relatively new, it looks very clean, and the lighting is warm. The only drawback is that the standard room is arranged in the basement (there is a window, and there is light outside the window). The hotel is a bit elevated, so this floor is not completely dark. There is music playing in the corridor all the time, 24 hours a day, which slightly affects sleep. The breakfast is simple, but it is enough to eat.

LLyss_ssI made a reservation online for 4 days, and on the 4th day I went to the hotel front desk to renew for 2 more days for a total of 6 nights (renewal on site was very expensive, official website price). During this period, I changed rooms once because the room I got for the first time was too low and had no view.
The facilities are rudimentary, and there are no slippers and pajamas. Not to mention that many American hotels don’t have them. The ambient light under the bed in the second room was broken. The wardrobe door was deformed and could not be closed. When the right cabinet door was opened, it would hit the bulge on the top. The air outlet can only be opened to about 60 degrees and cannot be fully opened. The faucet is obviously too short and difficult to use. These are all errors in design and construction, which are outrageous.
One night at 1:30 in the morning, the fire alarm in the room announced that there was a fire. After broadcasting it four times, we all planned to run away. Then the broadcast said it was okay. The alarm buzzer and the loudspeaker were loud. The white girl next door said that she immediately went to find a job. Personnel but no one, outrageous.
The staff are very good-looking.
The design of the hotel space is very good. As we all know, there is no design in the United States, so we come here just for the sense of design. The experience is average. If I go to New York again, I will not come back.

GGuest UserAfter reading the reviews on here I wasn’t expecting too much from this hotel. I wanted to write some comments that reflect on the main themes I picked up (where they were similar and different). It seems I wasn’t charged the additional destination fee for my stay, although I had to ask a second member of staff to confirm as the first wasn’t clear. When I arrived for check in there was no wait. The staff member was not terribly friendly and welcoming. Of all the three hotels I stayed at in three different cities in the US, this stuck out as the poorest customer service. It wasn’t awful just not as welcoming as the other places. The information provided was not as clear and the general manner quite abrupt. The room was clean but the hotel generally was dated. The rooms didn’t seem fully clean or fresh but it was more that things were scratched, worn and dated rather than dirty. There were some stains on the carpet too. The location was, as others have said, excellent. I would have expected more for the price but it also was better than expected from reading some of the reviews on here.

WWubirongguangThe hotel had overcharged me $150.
When I first checked in in the hotel, they changed $150 for upgrade. This is ok
They also retained us $150 as deposit.
The hotel advised us that the hotel wouldl issue us two free tickets for city tour. Also, the hotel advised us we would have $150 credit while shopping or eating in the hotel. When we checked out, we found the hotel did not gave the credit to us and took away our deposit.
We had to spend 30 minutes to explain and to wait for the staff processing. Finally. The staff corrected the mistake and printed a new invoice to us.
However, I found the hotel still kept changing that $150.
I just returned from a international trip and am wondering how to communicate with you.
Bad experience!
GGuest UserThe room we stayed in for the first two days was small, on a low floor, and had only one window facing the patio, so the room was not well lit. The order was changed to the 12th floor for the next seven days. The room was also larger and had windows on both walls. After opening the curtains, we could directly see the street view of W 71st Street and the view of Midtown, which felt good.
The loud sound of the air conditioner was the only unacceptable problem, but this is a problem that many two- and three-star hotels in New York have, so we can only tolerate it.
The quality of service varies from person to person. Some front desk staff are friendly and some have average service attitudes. There is not someone to clean every day. I cleaned it myself in the first few days. Later, I found that the sink was blocked. I called the front desk and someone was sent to fix it. In the following days, someone came to clean it continuously, so it is also important to make requests. Most of the service staff are of South American descent and speak Spanish. They may not be good at English, so communication is a bit difficult.
The hotel is in a prime location, close to Central Park and the 72nd Street subway station, with convenient transportation. It is a quiet place in the bustling Upper West Side of Manhattan. It is highly recommended in terms of cost performance.
Attached is the street view taken from a room on the 12th floor of the hotel and the hotel front taken from W72 Street.

JJaeStarI was a bit daunted by reviews when booking but was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, you get what you pay for (and a bit more). It’s a hostel with private rooms, not a hotel. Once you realize that, you manage your expectations. It is in a prime location next to Central Park and a short walk to Times Square. It is near a metro station and there are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The room was adequate (I booked a single room). It was clean and comfortable. Inside the room was a small tv, a small refrigerator, a desk a twin bed and a small closet area. I wasn’t too concerned about the room because I didn’t intend to spend much time in there but it was comfortable enough for my stay. The bathrooms are shared but are privately used so you don’t actually share it with anyone while using. It was always clean and regularly checked (but of course as they are shared some people clear up after themselves better than others). There were several so I never needed to wait more than a few mins. The shower pressure was fine and the water temperature was perfect for me. Even though you pay for gym and facility use when you stay, I never used them so can’t comment on them.
The checkin and check out processes were easy. The staff were all friend and helpful. The building felt safe and I never felt worried about anything.
I don’t really have any negatives to comment on. There was a little noise at time from other residents but that’s beyond the control of the staff etc.

AAshley NicoleThe hotel is in an excellent location. It’s very easy to get around by walking or hopping on the metro. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, but the hotel itself is in need of renovations (as other reviews have stated). If the hotel were to make those renovations I would stay again.
