it's ok
I made a mistake about the date to check in.
The Staff young man helpd to solve it so quickly.

Clean, friendly and good restaurants in the area.

The Building  is older but well kept.  The food was ok.  But what We Liked most was that it was clean.

Facilities were very good. Food as expected.  Very affordable for the quality

Very convenient, there are Starbucks, Burger King, stop & shop, gas station within walking distance, near the lake and seaside, walking and running is also good. The service attitude is superb.

This is a jewel of a hotel in this part of Connecticut. It was clean, the rooms were nice, comfortable beds and the staff was friendly and helpful in a reasonably priced hotel. Will definitely stay here again when traveling to the area. I especially liked that the rooms didn’t have that stale musty smell that you run in to in so many of the moderately priced hotels.

I booked this reservation in July 2022 for a college visit for my son. A day after making the non refundable reservation I realized I booked it for Saturday instead of the Thursday night I needed. I called back through the third party vendor I booked with. They reached out but the manager refused to make the change. I called the hotel directly multiple times day and night to speak to the manager to request the change. He never responded and choose to stick to the policy. So he would rather penalize me and pocket the full profit rather than work to keep future business. They were not fully booked on the Thursday night I needed but they were unwilling to make the switch.  I know the mistake was mine but when you look at the  potential lost future revenue this was an extremely short-sighted decision.  I’ve been in the Connecticut area on an almost weekly basis for the past month looking at schools and my son will likely be going to school in the area for four years starting next year. Guess I know where I won’t be staying when I go to Connecticut.  In  fact, as a result of this incident,  I found a much nice place to stay, which will be my go to location for future visits.
