We booked a Queen Room but the reality really didn't match the pictures on Trip.com. Take a look and decide for yourself.
When we arrived there was a strange smell in the room, a bit like damp or mold. We asked to change room but we're told that the only room available was in an annexe under construction. It was May holiday, so it is understandable but the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general reality isn't good enough. The hotel is very old and clearly not cleaned properly. At night I dropped my phone and found thick dust and pieces of food that have clearly been there for many weeks down the side of the bed disgusting!!!

Since last visit in Ningbo we used that hotel to stay overnight for our business trips. Our old hotel „Golden Port“ is now already closed for renovations maybe. We will see. The location is near barstreet where a Irish ☘️ Pub is located. A little bit hidden in the background. There we always have nice breakfasts and some dinner.

the hotel is alright, it’s clean and has all you need but the best part is that it’s walking distance to all the good stuff in the city, the old bund and street night markets!
