"This hotel boasts a fantastic environment, with beautiful birdsong and flowers, right by the lake, and even a small sandy beach. We booked the cheapest garden-view twin room, which was incredibly spacious and featured a huge bathtub. I had anticipated the hotel might be a bit dated, but it completely exceeded my expectations; the room facilities were mostly automated. The biggest surprise was how family-friendly it is. This season, they have a heated indoor pool, a soft play area, and several outdoor playgrounds. There are also activities available for an extra fee, like a digger sandbox experience, rock climbing, and go-karts. We didn't have time for those this visit, but we'll definitely be back for a second stay on another weekend!"

"I chose this hotel because it was the closest to the University of Nottingham, where I was attending an event. It's truly excellent value for money! The hotel brand is well-recognized, the facade is grand, and the lobby is spacious. I particularly loved the distinctive colored tile pattern on the lobby floor. The rooms are expansive and offer great views of the nearby administrative CBD. Breakfast was abundant, and the fried dough sticks and soy milk were delicious. The hotel is also only about a 20-minute drive from the Ningbo Dongqian Lake Scenic Area and not too far from the subway. All in all, it's a fantastic place and well worth recommending."

"The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently close to nearby attractions, many of which are within walking distance. It's also not far from the subway station, making it easy to get to places further away. I only found out upon checking in that this was the first five-star hotel in Zhejiang. Considering how many years it's been, the facilities have been well-maintained and renovated. The service is top-notch; all the staff are very friendly and proactively greet you, and they're quick to assist whenever you need help. The room had no strange odors, was very clean, and well-kept. During my multi-day stay, they even provided complimentary snacks."

"As a star-rated hotel, it's unbelievable that the lobby manager couldn't even arrange for a disposable bed sheet to be put on the bed, even though we provided it ourselves. When we returned, the bed sheet was still in the room, untouched. The facilities are quite old, and it was very cold at night as the air conditioning wasn't heating."

"I really liked the hotel's location. In the evening, my family and I enjoyed a pleasant stroll back to the hotel from the Old Bund, admiring the riverside light show along the way. The room facilities were good; a higher floor would have been ideal. We had breakfast at Zhangfuji, conveniently located right next door; the food was exquisite and delicious. The hotel partners with a swimming pool just a short walk away, where we took the kids for some fun. Anna, from the hotel staff, was incredibly warm and welcoming, as were all the other team members. They consistently greeted us whenever we crossed paths, which truly deserves praise."
