"The Holiday Inn Express is right next to the Crowne Plaza, sharing the same courtyard and parking garage. It's an economy hotel, quite simple and straightforward. The room was reasonably spacious and well-equipped, and the shower had good hot water pressure. The only thing is that the bathroom was internal, so it felt a little stuffy when first entering. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard, not particularly lavish, but it had all the basics, which is fair enough for an economy hotel. The location is quite excellent. It's convenient for sightseeing; you can walk left out of the lobby for about half an hour to reach the Old Bund and the confluence of the three rivers. To the right, it's a five-minute walk to Chenghuang Temple, and if you cross a few streets and walk for about half an hour, you'll reach Moon Lake Park and Tianyi Pavilion Museum."

"The hotel's location is super convenient if you're traveling by high-speed train. You literally can't miss it once you exit the North Square! 😂 Although the hotel is a bit older, it's generally clean and comfortable. The in-room amenities are also great, especially being able to order room service by scanning a QR code. The breakfast was excellent too, with a wide variety of delicious options. My only minor complaint is that the insect control needs improvement (there were quite a few small flies buzzing around the food in the salad area). Moon Lake Park is just a short walk away, making it incredibly easy to start a city walk from the hotel."

It's also not far from the subway station, making it easy to get to places further away. I only found out upon checking in that this was the first five-star hotel in Zhejiang. Considering how many years it's been, the facilities have been well-maintained and renovated. The service is top-notch; all the staff are very friendly and proactively greet you, and they're quick to assist whenever you need help. The room had no strange odors, was very clean, and well-kept. During my multi-day stay, they even provided complimentary snacks."

"As an established five-star hotel, the overall service is quite good, but the facilities are really not up to par. The elevator door malfunctioned twice; upon reaching the floor, the door only opened halfway, and guests had to squeeze out sideways. The staff member riding the elevator with us didn't seem concerned about guest safety, only complaining about the elevator themselves. The shower seal was detached, leading to severe water leakage, and there were holes in the bedsheets. If it weren't for the group purchase rate and the room upgrade, I would have complained on the spot."
