Guest UserThe location of the B&B is very good. It is a renovation of an old house. The proprietress is very welcoming. She waited at the gate in advance and helped with the luggage. She treated us like relatives visiting during the Chinese New Year. It felt like home.
It is best to stay overnight in the ancient town. It is especially good to visit in the morning and evening.

Two days in advance, I added the housekeeper's WeChat and booked the meal and hot spring time.
It is more convenient to drive there. After locating their parking lot, a housekeeper will pick us up to check in at the B&B.
The room is still clean as a whole, with everything it should have. The welcome fruits and flowers are still very warm. There is only a window on the top to watch the starry sky. The glass is a little dirty after a long time, but it doesn't affect it at night.
After that, we walked around. The content of the B&B is still very complete, with a large room for dinner, facilities for children to play, hot springs and swimming pools, and places to read and drink tea.
Walking out of the B&B, the village is peaceful and quiet. Walk around and feel the environment and culture of Maoao Village.
I made an appointment for dinner and hot springs in the evening at the B&B. Because it is a reservation system, it is equivalent to a private soup, which feels good. Half an hour is completely enough. The dinner tastes good, and the chef gives a good review.
The above.

Guest UserThe hotel is located right on Chenghuangmiao Pedestrian Street, just a few minutes' walk from the metro station, making it super convenient. It's great for an evening stroll. We booked a family room, which was spacious with a thoughtful layout, and very clean and tidy. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The facilities were new and complete, with a smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a mini-fridge – everything you need. Breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, incorporating local specialties, and tasted delicious. A big shout-out to all the staff, from the front desk to customer service and the restaurant staff – everyone was warm, attentive, and very responsive. We had a fantastic experience.

Anonymous UserGo to the mountains on a weekday when there are fewer people and relax your city mind.
After comparing several hotels and B&Bs online, I was finally conquered by the greenery outside the window and stayed at Meisu. 💚
I slept until I woke up naturally, and my breakfast became brunch because I stayed in bed. Fully enjoyed the privilege of rest days~
What I particularly want to praise is the cleanliness of Meisu. It really beats most B&Bs in terms of cleanliness. When I passed by the tool room, I glanced at it and saw that it was also very neat and neatly organized. 🧰
Made a reservation for dinner cooked by my aunt. Originally I just wanted to eat something simple, but I didn't expect that when it was served, the quantity of each dish could be described as solid. Seeing that it might be a waste, but the first piece of braised pork in my mouth makes me want to add a bowl of rice~😋
Very happy to spend leisurely time in Meisu. Wish you better and better.

When checking in, they provided complimentary fruit and sand toys, both of good quality. I'd suggest clarifying whether the minibar items are free.
Facilities: There are both indoor and outdoor pools with nice views and plenty of lifeguards, which was reassuring. The Ruibao Paradise is a bit small, the ball pit had a slight odor, and the air conditioning wasn't strong enough.
Cleanliness: The room was very clean, with no unkempt corners.
Environment: The beach is within walking distance, and there's a fireworks show in the evening. However, the sand isn't very fine and soft, and there are small shells.
Service: Breakfast can get crowded, so it's best to go before 8 AM. The service was quite good; staff helped us find a table.

XiegangzhuangzhuangnianThe hotel has a great variety of facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a soft play area, and go-karts – everything you could want! The craft activities were fun, and they provide a full range of children's amenities. If outdoor activities are canceled due to rain, they quickly organize indoor alternatives. Our butler, Zuo Zuo, was also very attentive and helpful.

Guest UserIt’s a B&B that people like at first glance (at least that’s what I think). Whether it’s the facilities in the room or the scenery at the door (right next to the Qixiakeng Ancient Road), I think this visit is worth it! The food is also very delicious. My child didn’t even take a few bites of the food he ordered from a small restaurant near Xikou last year. It was not to his liking and it was also noisy. Unexpectedly, the chopsticks didn’t stop today, which means it’s very delicious and indeed in line with our taste. , How can taro be so pink and waxy! Delicious! We are already discussing how to come and stay for a few days during the summer vacation. In summer, we can play in the small stream in front of our house! Walking around the ancient village in the evening has a beautiful artistic conception! Anyway, it’s a comfortable stay and a comfortable environment. Get up and go hiking on the Qixiakeng Ancient Trail after breakfast tomorrow, which is the perfect end to this two-day and one-night short trip! Goodbye in the summer~

HepbyfNestled in a bamboo-ringed mountain hollow, Xikou Manxiugu B&B ingeniously tucks each forest villa into the hillside, creating a unique and secluded haven. Staying in these hollow villas, you can enjoy snow in winter, mist in spring, cicadas in summer, and autumn leaves, truly embracing the wild. You can imagine yourself as a free bird in the forest or an uninhibited 'wildling' from ancient times, far from the hustle and bustle. Wake up to the morning sun, watch the sunset in the evening, sip tea leisurely, enjoy a glass of wine at night, listen to the rain on the leaves, chat with friends, find romance with a loved one, or simply gaze at the starry sky. It’s simply delightful! I come back every other year for a few days; I arrive feeling weary and leave feeling completely refreshed.
The villas at Manxiugu are diverse in style and shape – from two-story Gothic-inspired spires to charming Baroque wooden cabins. Each room has a pleasant woody fragrance that ensures a peaceful night's sleep. On hot days, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear infinity pool. And the chef's culinary skills are truly exceptional – the food is delicious, not greasy, and incredibly appetizing, all at a reasonable price, so there's no need to dine out. The service philosophy is guest-first, with every request met and every detail handled until you're completely satisfied. I especially want to thank Miss Xiaoyu, who thoughtfully carried our bags and helped us, who aren't so young anymore, settle in comfortably. My detailed rambling is simply because my stay was so comfortable and satisfying, so I highly recommend everyone give it a try!

I had originally booked a different hotel, but then I kept seeing reports of snake bites just days before my trip. It scared me so much that I quickly canceled and booked the Park Hyatt instead. It was an experience that left much to be desired.
Since I was coming from Fenghua, I arrived around 9 AM, hoping to just store my luggage and go out to explore. I didn't even ask to check in. The staff member at the front desk who handled my request was quite enthusiastic, but for some reason, the woman next to her seemed annoyed. She kept impatiently looking at her watch and giving the other staff member dirty looks. I couldn't stand it. If I couldn't check in, they should just say so clearly! I know check-in is at 3 PM, and I wasn't expecting to enter the room immediately. It would have been much more pleasant if they had just told me directly rather than subtly giving colleagues the evil eye. The check-in process itself was very basic; they only answered questions and didn't offer any information about the hotel or its activities. Parking is also very far, and that distant parking lot doesn't even have a shuttle! You have to walk all the way to the front desk under the scorching sun or in heavy rain! If they have a shuttle service, they could at least install a call button for it in the parking lot. As for everything else, besides the scenery, there's nothing much to praise. The service was genuinely terrible. In contrast, the cleaning staff, the elderly gentleman guiding people at the main entrance, and the elderly gentleman sweeping at breakfast were all more enthusiastic than the front desk staff. Breakfast was mostly Western-style, with many variations of eggs, and the tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls) were delicious (the same as at Qianhu Yugang, which I specifically avoided ordering when dining there). The freshly made sweet sesame pancakes were also tasty. I didn't get to experience the outdoor pool due to thunderstorms, but the indoor one was quite comfortable. I booked a renovated room. I guess these kinds of chain hotels are more suitable for loyalty program members. Most of the positive reviews I saw were from Globalists or similar.
The entire experience, the best part was dining at Qianhu Yugang. The service was good, and the food was also delicious. I guess this trip was just for the food.

yingyingI have always wanted to experience the Tree Frog Tribe, but unfortunately it is really difficult to book in summer. I am so lucky to be able to book the last two tree houses during the Spring Festival. The 3 days and 2 nights passed very quickly, and I was really reluctant to leave here. . The kind teachers and enthusiastic staff moved us every moment. The store manager of Tribe is professional and attentive. He has another identity as a barista. The coffee produced by the store manager is really delicious. Mr. Liu, who is in charge of the operation, always made us mistakenly think that he is a professional preschool teacher. He knows how to guide children very well and is very kind. She is very patient and takes good care of every child in the activities she leads. In the past few days, the children have experienced plant dyeing, went up the mountain to chop wood and set up a stove to light a fire, made their own glutinous rice dumplings, made a cabin, and spent time at night bonfire party, etc. I am very grateful that the B&B can arrange such rich activities for the children in winter.
Although I have just left, I am already looking forward to coming back here in the summer to experience a richer summer boutique camp. I will definitely come back here this summer.
