The room was really spacious and the private onsen was great. We had a lovely stay. It was also walking distance to the nearest convenience store and jigokudani. Not to mention, the breakfast and dinner included taste good too!

This hotel is nice but the staff is not so friendly. When we arrived, none of the staff is helping us to bring the luggage to hotel room although they saw us with many luggages. For the dinner, we felt disappointed as they didn’t ask us if we can eat beef in the 1st place and we only knew the menu when we arrived at the restaurant during dinner time. We requested to change the beef to other meat but they rejected our request. Nevertheless the room with private onsen is nice!

This is my second time staying at this hot spring hotel. The last time was ten years ago. The hotel facilities have not changed at all. It is still warm and cozy. I feel like I will stay here again next time! The food is exquisite and delicious. As soon as I enter the room, I can smell the strong smell of sulfur hot springs. Full score recommendation!

The room types with private hot springs are really great. The hot water in the private hot spring pool is supplied 24 hours a day, so you can take a bath at any time. The traditional Japanese tatami room is also large and comfortable, so you can relax in the room leisurely. It is worth mentioning that there is bus stop N14 opposite the hotel. The buses are limited. You can arrange the arrival/departure time in advance, so you don’t have to drag your luggage back and forth to the hot spring street entrance.

As soon as you enter the door, there will be a smell of sulfur, that is the smell of our hot springs. Each room will have two keys, not key cards. You can use the keys to dine. Dinner is a Japanese-style meal, and a menu will be provided, served bit by bit, and served by a dedicated person. Pay attention! Each plate is dedicated to one type of food, don't mix them, or you will be corrected by your lovely sister. After dinner, we returned to the room and found that the original coffee table had been moved to the side and the beds had been made for us. The temperature of the air conditioner in the room is a bit high, maybe because it is afraid that you will be too cold after coming out of the hot spring. The room we booked comes with its own open-air hot spring. It is said to be open-air, but in fact it is a small balcony that serves as a bathtub, with a wooden fence to cover it. The water temperature is just right, not too hot. It's cold when you go out naked in the winter, but it's very warm when you soak in it. When leaving the hotel, the front desk will ask you where to go next and give you suggestions. We were going to the Bear Ranch, so they contacted the ranch’s shuttle bus to pick us up, and told us how to get to the bus station when we left. A shift schedule was given.

The attitude is very friendly, the room is very Japanese-style and well-equipped; the mountain view outside the window is sunny, and looking at the mountain view when using the hot spring is extra comfortable and relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were both exquisite.

A very nice hot spring hotel. I booked a Japanese-style room. There is a private hot spring that is comfortable to soak in until you shed your skin. The Donan Bus runs to the hotel entrance which is very convenient. I read other reviews that there is a shuttle bus, but when I asked the front desk, it didn’t exist.

I prefer staying in Japanese-style hotels. Ryoteihana did a good job. The front desk staff were two very gentle and elegant gentlemen. They were steady and decent, which is what I remember as rigorous and serious Japanese people. One of them was Chinese-Japanese-English. The three languages ​​are all very good👍, and the whole process of communication was very convenient. The accommodation is comfortable and the room type is very good. The menus for breakfast and dinner are different for two days, which is very surprising ~ the ingredients are very fresh, the taste is soft and the Western cuisine is full of creativity. It is not the best I have ever tasted, but I am still satisfied. As a kaiseki cuisine that is "more spiritually based", everyone enjoys it from the order of dishes to the service.
