Norwich Hotels with Parking

Noise from street outside window until 3.30am, shortly followed by traffic noise, so we got very little sleep! Our 'Heritage' room had neither beams nor a fireplace (as described on website) and was small and awkwardly shaped, with much of the room being taken up by a freestanding bathtub so that the wardrobe was crammed against a wall on the opposite side. The room was unwelcoming to say the least. When we mentioned the street noise on checking out, we were told to ask for a quiet room next time.....there will not be a next time. We booked directly with the hotel and were not told anything about street noise. A fridge with a loud hum was placed on top of a small table next to the wardrobe. Breakfast was adequate but poached eggs were hard. Not a wonderful experience.

What went well: very close to train station. On-street parking nearby (free of charge from 1830 to 0800 the next day). Interior is acceptable, clean and tidy. clean bathroom, shower water is hot enough, water pressure is strong enough. Even better if: sound-proof between rooms

Really enjoyed our relaxing spa break break. Spa was available from 6am till 10pm with no pre booking which was superb. Building was clean, the young receptionist was ever so smiley and helpful. I like Travel Lodge very much, i would recommend and i will be using Travel Lodge in different Cities from now on. The room was brilliant, the dinning room was excellent the staff were really good. I had a lot of fun in that room.

A little far of a walk from the clubs but not too bad. The desk man seemed a bit grumpy, whoever has good customer service. I called up several times with questions and they were always very nice over the phone. They have a 24hr front desk so, perfect for late check ins. However, early in the morning the cleaning crew tried to get in my room (but I had the top latch on, so they kept banging the door open and shut in attempts to take it off), and I had to get up to let them know I was still there. I was then told that in the system it said I had checked out an hour prior.

I stayed here when I was on a business trip in Norwich. The environment is great. It's just a manor hotel. The facilities are too old. The floor is creaky. The facilities in the room are very old. The third and fourth tier hotels in China are better than this. If you are a pretentious person, forget it. The environment is still very good. The air is very fresh. The breakfast is also OK. Anyway, it's just an ordinary British meal.

The hotel chain in the suburbs of the small city is next to the ecological park. The environment is beautiful and quiet, the service is standardized, the facilities are standard, the hotel can be very convenient to call a taxi, it is very convenient to enter and exit, the breakfast standard is rich, and it is suitable for business trips or tourism. It was a little bit of a small item at the hotel when I left, but I didn't have any inquiries, which was a little unexpected.

We were delighted with this hotel. Parking with my blue badge was easy and close to reception. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were pleased with the layout and spaciousness of our room.Decor is good, and we had very pleasant meals in the conservatory. We are light eaters and found what we wanted by using the illustrated tablets provided by the staff. We did have a problem, though. As I was pleased with the service for the evening meals I left a tip each time and it was only after I checked the bill at home that I found gratuities had been added. We were not advised of this and saw no advice of it on the tablet menus. A shame - until then we were very happy. It doesn't stop us going again but we shall leave no tips!

All five of us had our own room, all situated together in the main house and one had a room with a shower which was located just outside. Breakfast choice was good and we also had our evening meal there each night. The menu for the evening meal did not change but there were 2 vegetarian options and what looked like a good selection otherwise. There were two main lounges and a small, well stocked bar. Also a garden with seating. The hotel was a short-ish walk from town and a bus stop was just opposite. A good choice for a stay in Norwich.
