The Royal Hotel ★★★
"A little hot due to no fans in the night. Other things are perfect!"
Muthu Oban Regent Hotel ★★★
"Great location, view of water, room was large clean & modern with tea coffee and sparkling and still water. Staff were efficient and friendly and were always happy and helpful. I would 100% recommend this hotel when staying in Oban ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
The Kelvin Hotel ★
"There are two beds, one large and one small, with complete facilities and a large bathroom. Why is the sink so small in such a large space? There is a large parking lot next to it, and there is no charge on Saturdays."
Corran House Guest House ★★
"Nice easy place to stay for a tour of Oban"
Blair Villa South ★★★
"Service: It's a guesthouse-style hotel, quite clean and fragrant. The public areas, as shown in the picture, have a historical feel and character. Environment: Requires walking or driving up a small hill, but the location is easy to find. The views from the windows in the public areas are nice. Facilities: The rooms are quiet and have all the necessary amenities. Overall, it's quite good."
The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"Perfect location and very helpful staff ."
Don Muir Guesthouse ★★★
"Nicely presented guesthouse. Though it says no food the proprietor Caroline, kindly left some goodies and breakfast Muesli and flakes in the room which was a nice touch. 😁😁"
The Ranald Hotel ★★★
"Hotel was excellent, staff were friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Definitely stay again"
The Ranald Apartments ★★★
"It is very centrally located with Tesco, M n S big supermarkets just round the corner 5 minutes walk away. Some Car park spaces in front good for free parking after 6 pm to 9 am. For cheapest whole day parking, 7.50 pound can be found near the ferry pier, about 7 mins walk from hotel. Easy access to all restaurants. Reception is within the bar in Ranald Hotel with manned staff until 11pm. Cons in room, water shower not consistent in temperature, no washing machine and room lightings can feel too dark. But maybe a lot of lightings in that area are like that… But all in all will recommend. Comfortable."

"Environment ➕ Castle, awesome!"
Melfort House
"Why is it every time we visit Oban, there's a violent storm? We'd booked for two nights but on our day of travel Mathew phoned to advise all the roads were either flooded or blocked with landslips. We agreed to try travelling the following day, which we did - it was eventful and with many detours but got there. Mathew kept in touch throughout to check our progress too, giving us updates on road closures. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door and shown our room, which was huge and very well appointed. We asked for dinner each night and I must say, the food was of the highest standard ( and I've been to a lot of top tier hotels in my day). Mathew had also arranged at my request for prosecco, flowers and chocolates to be in our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Dinner was preceded with a complimentary glass of sherry and coffee was in the comfortable and well furnished drawing room. We sat at the large dining table with other guests for both dinner and breakfast, so it was great that we got to meet new people throughout our stay, all of whom were lovely and also intrepid travelers. All in all, Melfort House is a top notch hotel / B&B and definitely a cut above the rest, with fantastic hospitality, awesome food and yet quiet enough to relax in traditional comfort. Thank you ! "
The Whisky Vaults
Corriemar House
"The guest house is spotlessly clean and very well furnished, staff were not present and check in was done online, the room keys and information were waiting for us on arrival, the staff were easily contacted if required. The booking was room only as breakfast is not provided however there's plenty of good quality cafes in Oban. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will happily return and recommend to others."
The Pier Rooms
No17 the Promenade
"This is very small botique hotel, didn't look impressive front the entrance outside hotel. The moment we went in, it is really cozy & we were greeted by very warming in house manager & booked dinner table as well. We enjoyed their breakfast and as well as dinner, very good quality. Our concern is this hotel doesn't have lift."
3 Oban - fantastic sea view apartment
Ardtorna
"I booked a room but didn't go in. I didn't pay attention. It seems that the hotel does not accept children under 11 years old."
Dalrigh House
"Really lovely stay"
Falls of Lora Hotel
"As a solo traveller, the single room was ok. The bathroom was small, and the shower needed to be explained!! The room did have a strange smell, not a fresh smell. Maybe the carpet needs to be steamed cleaned? The food in the restaurant is excellent, and the Haddock was superb. And bar prices are reasonable."
Glencruitten House
"Wowee! Best Afternoon Tea ever. Far from traditional and so full of taste. From open steak sandwiches to light-as-a-feather yam sponge cake. And a fantastic selection of teas from English Breakfast to Piña Colada. All presented in an enchanted forest tearoom setting with impeccable service. Highly recommended."
Knipoch House Hotel
Loch Melfort Hotel
"Lovely hotel, fantastic location, the food was great and the staff helpful."
Oyster Inn Connel
"I can't tell you about my stay as I booked the wrong dates. As soon as I found out, I phoned The Oyster Inn to cancel but because I used Trip.com, they said there was nothing they could do. I cancelled on Trip.com and the message said that they'd contacted the hotel to confirm if it was ok to cancel FOC. According to trip.com, no response was forthcoming so my booking was not cancelled. My booking has since been "completed". When I contacted the hotel the following day to ask why they had not approved the cancellation, they said trip.com had simply asked for info, not to approve cancellation. Who is lying? Suffice to say, I will not use trip.com again and have decided to stay elsewhere in Oban."
