Muthu Oban Regent Hotel
"Staff very helpful. Room with smell of drainpipe. Lack of private parking but pay & display parking just opposite."
Muthu Alexandra Hotel
"The facade of this hotel is very classic but inside is outdated like other hotels in Oban. Nice parking lot. Nice staff."
The Great Western Hotel
"I enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean and had everything i needed. The only drawback was the room faced the back where the bins were, which wasn't pleasant. The staff were helpful.and friendly."
Premier Inn Oban
"Excellent stay. Good parking facilities. Good food in the restaurant, couldn't fault it. Staff friendly and helpful, especially the duty manager."
Muthu Queens Hotel
"I had a stay here and had a great room king size bed that was extremely comfortable had a fantastic few nights sleep jacuzzi bath and had to change rooms during my stay which was no problems whatsoever Vanessa Llego whom couldn’t have been anymore professional during my stay handled this with such great service and hospitality so would recommend this hotel to stay at in Oban without a shadow of a doubt"
Loch Melfort Hotel
"Lovely location Beautiful room Lovely meal in the restaurant overlooking the Loch Definitely recommend this beautiful hotel"
The Royal Hotel
"Perfect location close to rail station.Lots of positive points, however hotel was dated in parts, room carpet flooring was unstable so had to exercise caution not to trip and cause injury. Reception staff member Jamie pleasant and most helpful, so was Nicola over the phone the night before check-in. Food could be improved, with a better variety at breakfast, and providing fresh fruit. Room allocated was not what I expected. Would stay again if better room allocated."
Isle of Eriska Hotel Spa & Island
"Environment ➕ Castle, awesome!"
Glencruitten House
"What a stunning property! Absolutely amazing!! This was one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. Great vibes, great food and great staff."

Lochaline Hotel
Melfort House
"A very tranquil and attractive setting combined with very comfortable accommodation A wonderful stay for those seeking a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere The room offered a very pleasant view of the loch with sheep grazing in the fields The breakfast was exceptional"
Corriemar House
"Room No 4 is a good room with a fair view of the sea. However despite leaving a "Please make up the room" sign in the morning, the room was not serviced. So no breakfast (which is only a porridge in a pot!), nor clean towels etc. Very disappointing! We advised a lady, mother of the owner, about a broken window lock and the very slow shower drain. The broken window lock was repaired, but nothing else. We think that £178 per night for 2 nights was excessive bearing in mind the lack of service."
The Old Cottage
"Delightful B & B! Karen and Darren are warm, welcoming hosts so knowledgeable of the area. We loved our stay. Our room was immaculate, cozy sitting area with a beautiful view of lovely gardens and the water. The bed was so comfortable, the en-suite bathroom was great. Their breakfast was delicious and we so enjoyed visiting with the other guests while watching squirrels, birds and bunnies dine on the patio. They recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner…top notch ! We even got to hear their friends play and sing folk music! Arduaine Gardens are walking distance. We will remember The Old Cottage and it’s wonderful hosts fondly. Book it!"
No17 the Promenade
"This is very small botique hotel, didn't look impressive front the entrance outside hotel. The moment we went in, it is really cozy & we were greeted by very warming in house manager & booked dinner table as well. We enjoyed their breakfast and as well as dinner, very good quality. Our concern is this hotel doesn't have lift."
Aspen Lodge
"Simply THE place, if you stay in Oban and wanna have the city near. Only 10min to city center, but in a remote and secluded area with rooms who have the most wonderful views when waking up in the morning. The rooms are beautifuly decorated with much love to detail. We simply loved everything about it and we‘ll come back for sure!"
The Ranald Hotel
"Hotel was excellent, staff were friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Definitely stay again"
Palace Hotel - Small Hotel
"Convenient location but small room and quite pricey; great to be able to see the sea from our comfortable double bed! The UHT milk sachets in the room were two years - yes, two years - past their 'use by 'date,' so made my morning coffee lumpy! Lacked internet"
Achnacriche Bed and Breakfast
Glengorm Guest House
"Bed well past it’s sell but date, pillows to, bedding clean but old fashioned. Room very tired as was bathroom needs an upgrade. Light bulb missing in bed side light. Room not cleaned during our stay., or towels changed. Breakfast was help your self, everything laid out the night before and covered, very basic for £6 each certainly would t stay again."
Little Bay View
Corran House Guest House
"It’s a very nice place, well maintained and beautiful sea views. All the amenities for grocery dine-in and out are available. The hotel itself has bar as well, so you can order food easily."
Oban Youth Hostel
"Yes, I returned to Oban Youth Hostel after 70yrs and had an excellent experience, nice accommodation, beautiful sunny weather. Clean kitchen, not too busy, quite time of the year...but right on the Seafront close to the town centre. Travelled on the boat to Craignure before booking into the Youth Hostel..beautiful sunny day, Had a drink from the reception and sat out enjoying the sun...watching the boats come and go. Saturday morning I again travelled on the boat to Craignure another bright and sunny day, then I caught the bus back to Glasgow"
Falls of Lora Hotel
"We are in the area a lot and normally eat at The Oyster Inn or Lochnell and unfortunately we wished we had stuck with our normal choice. 6 of us attended for an early dinner which turned out to still be the lunch menu which was fine. We sat down and it was two young lads working, there was one other table in who had been served their food then some guys came into the bar obviously local as they all knew eachother. We sat for 10 minutes before we were even offered drinks and that’s after staring them down until one came over. Food arrived and again nearly finished before our sauce arrived, very slow service. Food was okay for some, delicious steak pie but the amount of chips with it was a smaller portion than the kids meals. Those who had fish found it greasy and not enjoyable. The service was just so slow and lacked any atmosphere which is ashame but we will stick to what we know next time!"
