This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner. The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff there are very welcoming and caring. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.

The hotel was fantastic value for money in Salzburg! A little further from the station, but can walk in under 10mins. Imauer Hotel seems more popular with the locals, and has a great restaurant. Recommended to stay in Sheraton, and eat at the Imauer restaurant.

I can't believe that the hotel room facilities are very new after so many years. Especially the faucets and shower facilities in the bathroom are spotless and of good quality. I guess it's a newly renovated room. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to Mirabell Gardens. It's also 10 minutes to the river. Some rooms in the hotel are being renovated, but I didn't hear any noise during my two-day stay.

We had breakfast in the room this morning and wanted to get some more rest. The waiter knocked on the door. Within a second of us figuring out if it was a knock, she had already opened the door and walked in. Seeing someone in the room, she said "oh" and left without even saying sorry... It was as if the guest rooms were all her bedrooms... The men in the lobby looked at us, one big and one small, pushing four suitcases, and no one offered to help. We stored our luggage for a while, and the man with glasses asked us to push our luggage in the luggage room because he didn't know which one was ours. What are the luggage cards for? The staff should all be trained. They charge one star for five-star service... The facilities are too old. The corridor carpet needs to be replaced. It smells very musty. The speakers are so old that they don't have Bluetooth function, but you can listen to the radio.
