We absolutely loved our stay! Although this was an old hotel since 1975, the resort is well renovated and maintained well. The room is very spacious but a bit dark for our elderly parents (preference) and clean! Room has plenty of privacy. Stayed here for a mid point to Churaumi Aquarium.
There is also a public bath within the hotel open in the evening. We came in winter so there was no crowd at the beach and breakfast buffet. Lawson is 5 min walkable distance. Ate dinner at Yakiniku Ryukyunoushi nearby.

I went to the hotel with my family and my 7-month-old baby, and we stayed for 4 nights. I was not happy with the accommodation or the service. The breakfast had very few Western options and didn’t even include cold cuts like ham and cheese.
Lunch also had limited options.
In addition, I needed to put my baby to sleep and there was no air-conditioned area available outside the room.
There was no beach service, and if you wanted to sit on the beach with an umbrella and chairs, you had to pay extra.
If you wanted to sit in a shaded area near the pool, you also had to pay.
The worst part was the beach and pool opening hours: from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. — very inconvenient.

We requested a crib for our stay when we made the booking. The hotel said they did not receive the request and refused to give us the crib. The hotel manager was very rude. He hung up on me twice while I was trying to speak to him about getting a crib. He even walked away in the middle of our conversation when I went down to the reception to speak with him. At the end I had to buy a portable crib in a store which was 30 mins drive away from the hotel.
This is the first negative hotel experience I have ever had in Japan. Although the beach and pool was nice, we are never coming back again.

Staff are helpful and friendly, the sea view is stunning with clean swimming pool and private beach! Very peaceful stay.
