Surfside Bed & Breakfast

The B&B is situated on a hilltop, about 35 meters above sea level. The view from the room is beautiful, overlooking the entire bay. The room was very spacious, and the beds were comfortable. In addition to air conditioning, the room had a microwave and a refrigerator. It also had a balcony. The only drawback, in my opinion, was the lack of a drinks machine.

The guesthouse was located on a small hill. I chose a sea-view room, and the view of the ocean was right outside the door. The price was incredibly reasonable. Breakfast required advance reservation and cost 900 yen. It had a very homey feel, the room was spacious, and the shower had a strong water pressure. These two nights were actually the two best nights I slept during my trip to Okinawa. The only downside was that the guesthouse was on a hill, and climbing up it was quite a workout for my glutes, especially with a large suitcase in tow – it was exhausting! So it's definitely more suitable for families who drive there. Also, there weren't many streetlights at night, and the mountain path was quite dark, which made me a little scared to be alone. But it wasn't actually that scary; it was quite safe. It had been raining in Okinawa before my trip, but the weather cleared up on the day I checked in. Onna Beach was right next door, a 15-minute walk away, perfect for sunbathing, and there was a convenience store nearby.

The building is old, but well-cleaned. The owner is nice and the rooms are spacious, so you can stay comfortably. The location is a little out of the way, and it's dark at night. It's about a 15-minute walk to the road where there are restaurants. It's downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back. There aren't many streetlights, so it's better to have a light. The breakfast was homemade by the owner and was delicious. It's not very Okinawan-like, though (lol)

The accommodation is in a natural and quiet environment, which might be a good option if you prefer to be away from the city. Having your own transportation is recommended.

It was spacious and perfectly adequate for the price.

This time we stayed late and the waiter was friendly and assisted with moving luggage. The room needs to be small and tidy.
