Residence Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista

The management is outstanding I had an issue with the room and before I could even complain it was taken care of. In this day most places do not have a reliable staff. From their engineers to their wonderful efficient desk clerks. I am a frequent titanium Marriott member. The managers Ray Olmo, Cristina and desk clerks especially Rafaela Castro are amazing. Been to many years since I have had such great caring service. Bravo Marriott. James Arminio

Mikayla and Christina were fantastic, making my stay feel like home. The hotel is extremely clean and modern, perfect for visiting the parks. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, ensuring a seamless experience. You won’t be disappointed with this choice!

Mediocre hotel, Had a bottle of vodka in the freezer, came back one night beds made, towels refreshed, vodka frozen solid, had been switched out for water. plumbing has issues toilets don't flush properly, water bubbling up in sinks. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is just not up to Marriott standards and it shows everywhere you look, from the chipped paint on the furniture, scratches on the table and screw holes in the top of the nightstand. The dishwasher wasn’t anchored, so when I tried to open it not realizing it was locked, I pulled it out. I had to unload the dishwasher from the previous guests. The silverware was kept on the counter, because the kitchen had no drawers. No professional designer would overlook that. The range was away from the wall about 6 inches. I had to squeeze in the gap between that and the cabinet to be able to reach the plates. Luckily I’m fun sized and thin, so I fit. Most adults would not and kids couldn’t reach regardless. The carpet in the hallway was dirty, even after the carpet cleaners were there. The kitchen cabinets were chipped. The pulls on all the cabinets and vanity were too loose to use. I had to tighten them all. There were two kinds of paint on the bathroom tile. There was water damage and a bad patch job on the wall by the shower. The nightstand had screw holes in it from the days of screwing down remotes. So that should give you an idea as to age. It was hard to believe Marriott would release a room in this condition. But they did. The maid always forgot to give me towels. I had to call on two nights to get bathmat, facecloths, etc. One night it took an hour an a half to get the towels. There are at least three entrances to the place, all labeled on the outside and none labeled on the inside, so expect a walk to wherever you parked your car. The free breakfast was the best free breakfast I’ve ever seen. The food and beverage manager is outstanding. The room itself was laid out well. There were two TV’s both on a swivel. The pool looked great, though with all the rain, I didn’t have a chance to use it.

I'm a regular visitor of Residence Inn's as we like having a kitchen and at a min a 1 bedroom so the kids can play and get up early and let Mama sleep in. I reserved a 2 bedroom this time to allow the kids to play and give mom and dad some quiet time. The best parts were the price, the front desk staff, and location. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful as it was our 1st time to Orlando. We had 6 full days planned out between Walt Disney and Universal. This hotel was almost right in the middle. No more than a 15 min drive to any park. Now for the not so good parts of this hotel. The Room was not maintained. Major damage on bathroom doors and in the tubs (see pics). The carpet was very old. We normally just wear socks, but we left our shoes on for this stay. The morning breakfast provided was in a lunch room style room. It was very loud and the people were incredibly rude. They would make a mess (e.g., drop cereal on the floor) and just walk away as if they didn't do it. Now this is not the hotels fault, but it give you an idea of the clientele that stay at this particular Residence Inn. The food was less than average and after the second day of getting sick we chose to eat out or make breakfast in the room. Over all if you are trying to save some money on your Walt Disney Trip this may be a good choice if your not in the hotel much. Blessings, KennyG.
