Hotels Near Natural History Museum in Oslo

Staff were helpful. The power went out a few times and we finally figured it out it was because of a faulty light. We got to change to another room. Room is quite spacious that we can open 2 suitcases at the same time. Buffet breakfast was ok. Location is convenient with a tram stop nearby.

Helt ok hotell. Hadde det mest nødvendige, seng, dusj, toalett, tv. Veldig lite rom. Ikke kjøleskap. Noe jeg savnet. Frokost med veldig sparsomt utvalg og trangt om plassene. Som sagt, det dekker hva man må ha, men ikke noe mer en det heller. Til den prisen man må betale for et rom pr. natt, burde det vært en høyere standar.

Amazing location just 5 minutes or less from the main train station. Amenities are lovely especially as a solo traveller. They’ve got a restaurant in the lobby and drinks on top floor which is very convenient if you don’t like going out anymore

I had the pleasure of staying at Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget on the night of July 28th, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by Mr. Ponters during his shift from 10pm to 2am. During my stay, I encountered a significant challenge as my luggage had been delayed for two days with no updates from the airline company. In this moment of distress, Mr. Ponters went above and beyond to assist us. Not only did he generously offer the hotel telephone for us to contact the airline company, but he also displayed genuine concern by consistently checking in on us to ensure we were coping well with the situation. Furthermore, Mr. Ponters did not stop there. Understanding our predicament, he took the initiative to recommend nearby stores where we could purchase essential items such as toothpaste and slippers. His thoughtful suggestions made our temporary inconvenience much more bearable. Mr. Ponters' kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to provide assistance in a time of need truly set him apart. His exceptional customer service skills and genuine empathy exemplify the epitome of hospitality. It is without a doubt that Mr. Ponters deserves to be commended for his outstanding performance. His dedication to ensuring the comfort and well-being of guests is truly commendable. In my opinion, his exceptional service merits recognition, and I strongly believe that he deserves a raise for his exemplary efforts. Amazing hotel right by the main station, very modern, comfortable and a great buffet breakfast in a cute restaurant next door. Hotel bar is a nice place to have a drink after a long day exploring. Shuffleboard is a bonus!

The location was absolutely fantastic, being located right across Oslo Central Station. This made it really convenient bringing our heavy luggage to the room and there was also no stairs involved. The room had all the basic necessities, but I was sorely missing room slippers to keep your feet warm in the cold. While there was a coffee machine, there was no kettle provided, if you want to make a cup of tea instead. However, the one thing that truly sets this hotel apart is the breakfast, which is stellar compared to other hotel breakfasts you might get in Europe.

Fantastic hotel near the station. We had a great time! Super breakfast! Only detail: the rooms all have carpet, so if you have dust allergies I recommend you let us know before booking as they have very few rooms in the entire hotel without carpet!!!!!

Comfort hotel grand central is right in the city centre and very convenient to the Oslo S train station and great restaurants all around. The breakfast is alright. I will stay here again! Recommended.

The hotel is near convenience stores and many restaurants, and it's also close to museums and the opera house, making sightseeing very convenient. The hotel boasts a very modern and innovative design, and it is relatively new. The rooms are clean, safe, and quiet. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful, and kind. The hotel facilities are also excellent, including a 24-hour self-service coffee and tea bar and a 24/7 gym facility. The only bad thing is that it is a 10-minute walk from the central train station.

Room is big and clean. The receptionist is very friendly and welcome. The location is very close to the station. Easy to find and get train to airport. The washroom is very big. They don’t have water heater for boiling water only is the disadvantage. Overall, this hotel is very well recommended.
