Tranquil apartment only a short walk from Oxford station and central Oxford

Beautiful location, cozy flat First of all, this property overlooks gorgeous meadows, and in the morning you’ll wake up to birdsong and golden hour (there are blackout curtains though, should you need them). I saw so many varieties of birds, I almost bought a birding guide just for my stay. My favorite were the magpies. Daniel has provided everything you could need, and plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. The wifi is excellent and easy to use. It’s a short walk to a magnificent local pub. Daniel was extremely communicative and helpful, even when I left my raincoat behind! There were a couple of areas for improvement. The shower/bathtub did not get hot, just lukewarm. The place was functionally clean, but could use a deep clean. The shower walls/grout needed a good scrub, for instance, and there was lots of dust under the beds etc. Personally, I found the bed too firm for my comfort, but that may benefit some people. There were no check out instructions regarding tidying, but there are recycling instructions on the community board and a compost bin with a list of acceptable items that I followed. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would absolutely recommend the location. Thank you Daniel!

Great stay Great location in a quiet building and neighborhood. Easily walkable to city centre, train station and shops. Check in was easy and Daniel was helpful and responded quickly when we had a question. Listing photos were accurate. Two relatively minor issues during our stay: due to what looked like a home repair the bathroom door could not be opened fully and the sofa in the lounge had cushions which did not fit properly which made it uncomfortable to use and so limited our use of what was a lovely lounge. To be fair as these were not items that could be quickly resolved during our staywe did not raise them with the host at the time. We would recommend and with those issues corrected would give a five star.

Very comfortable flat. its about 20 min walk into town and 20 min drive to Woodstock. Daniel is an easy host to communicate with. Private garage to leave the car when not in use.

Lovely, conveniently located It was located in a lovely, convenient spot. We enjoyed watching the birds during breakfast. Nice walk into town. We had some problems getting in, because we didn't expect the keybox to be attached to the railings further away, but once we found it it was really easy.We expect there might be some damp issues, because there was a bit of mold in the window sills, but the apartment suited us perfectly. Would stay there again.

Great place and host! A great place, easy access to train station, bus station, and the centre of Oxford. Dan was easy to communicate with and always helpful and friendly. A great stay!

Oxford in October 2024 The apartment was exactly as described in the ad and everything was a very smooth experience. The location is within walking distance from the Oxford Station and the center yet it is located in a very quiet street. The host was very friendly and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Oxford.
