The hotel is very unique, it was converted from a prison. I didn't know why some of the room doors had names + years on them before, I only found out after asking. The suite I booked is underground, the experience is very novel, and there is also a separate entertainment room. I like this separate entertainment room so much, it's great! Oxford is really full of history, every place has a history.

This is a very distinctive hotel under Malmaison. It is in an excellent location, right in the center of Oxford. The facilities are classical and stylish. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a small terrace. The breakfast is rich and high-quality. It is highly recommended.

This is a hotel converted from an old castle prison. It is very innovative. There are two types of rooms. One is a room converted from two cells, and the other is a normal room. The window of the room converted from the cell is a small upper window like in the prison. The normal room I booked has a balcony. It depends on everyone's preference. The room has a coffee machine and a towel heating rod. The shower room is small and the button area is large, but it takes some skills to press it. The first time I pressed it for a long time, it didn't trigger. The air conditioning in my room was slightly insufficient, but the hotel service staff actively solved the problem. The overall service was very warm and thoughtful, sharing town maps and so on, so despite the slight inconvenience, I still like the style and service of this hotel. The breakfast is also good, and the black pudding is awesome. In addition, some rooms have stairs in addition to the elevator. If you have large luggage, you can try to contact the hotel to use the small elevator, as shown in the last picture

The introduction said that it was ≥1.81 meters, but it was actually 1.5 meters. I had to add an extra bed. The location is good, and it is very close to the west gate
