Greatly located just in the heart of old Palermo, and very quiet in the same time, serving very tasty breakfasts for all needs, spacious room (we opted for privilege one), and great views: see and mountain just in opposite directions.

Very good overall. The breakfast was actually fantastic. The location was b close the main nubs one towards the city centre. The bus cost about 1.30. A taxi or uber is 15-20 euros but the walk is just 20 minutes city centre. City tax is also very cheap!

Service is good. The ladies at the front desk is especially helpful. From providing information for breakfast, best Gelato in Palermo to car rental and intercity bus schedules and taxi bookings. They are always efficient and reliable. Thank you for the help! The shower is strong and water is hot which makes the shower experience very enjoyable. Our room is facing a one way street and is very quiet. Bed is on the harder side and pillows are flatter than our preference. Other than that, all is good.

The hotel does not match the price - quality. The room is small, the window overlooks the stairs, where there is always a cart with dirty linen and a tray of dirty dishes. The toilet does not work well, does not flush the tank, we contacted several times with the problem. Breakfasts are good, the location suited us, because proximity to the port was important to us. The girl at the reception did not understand our English or did not want to understand. The guy was friendly and solved all the issues.

I took the bus from the airport to Politeama and walked to the hotel. Palermo has a convenient bus service so I bought an unlimited bus ticket for the duration of my stay. The bus stop was close to the hotel so it was convenient. The hotel is old and feels a bit old, but it wasn't a problem. The room was spacious and had a balcony, which was nice. There was a variety of fruit available at breakfast, which was nice. If I were to order anything from the hotel, I would like the minibar to be emptied. The room is at 2 intersections next to the hotel. There is a big iron gate and a guard. It closes at 8pm, but it doesn't matter because you have a key to open it.
